1-0 WHL, goal by Ladd.

I admit I don't follow juniors that much, but is there a reason Brule isn't playing for the WHL team? Too young?

Dawes is a goal machine. If he plays with Crosby at the WJHC's it's going to be an awful scarey line.

Fehr is an unreal scorer. He never misses those. He's like a huge Brett Hull.

He's getting some shifts, almost exclusively on a checking role (I *think* he played at the end of a PP). He's a big guy on the ice, looked poised and confortable. But the WHL is so strong, its easy for him to get eclipsed by the other players performances.

Brule will play in game 2. If he played tonight, he would be playing six games in seven nights (or seven in nine) with pretty long travel involved.

Another amazing shot and another amazing goal by Fehr.

I was just thinking to myself 'the Fehr, Stone, Dawes line has been invisible this period' and then wham, one good chance and Fehr buries it.

Sounds like Fehr is pushing Bernier out of the way for the spot on the WJC team
