I hear ya, but IMO Hamilton and Tuuka have more value than Hall and Dubnyk...not much more but more. Evening the deal out with a mid first round talent for a 2nd round pick.

Not sure either team would do it, just a thought.

I would have to see Hamilton Play in the league 1st for sure. Even if he can play to the level expected, I still don't think I would make that deal.

Understood, I wouldnt trade Taylor Hall if I was in your position either.

But, Hamilton and Rask for Hall and Dubnyk is IMO very close to fair value. Could go either way.

Ask Steven Stamkos and Sidney Crosby how much they made as RFAs. Or John Tavares.

Obviously Hall, RNH, and Eberle aren't as good as those Crosby, Stamkos, or Ovechkin, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I would say that the difference between Hall and Hamilton is a bit greater than the difference between Rask and Dubnyk IMO.
