Hoping Morrow picks up his first W tonight. Jays need to sweep these kind of series to put us in a good position come October. Need a couple hits for Jose too.. sick of the pop flys and ground outs.

How's everyone's baseball pools going?

I stupidly forgot to edit my lineup last night and had Mauer and Span benched who just happened to go a combined 7 for 9 with a homerun, stolen base, etc...yet I'm still 8-2 (and I have Santos..).

I hear you on Kendrick, I have him too.

Votto, Gardner, Holliday, Rivera and some good starts from Billingsley, Alvarez and A. Sanchez have helped me to a strong start.

However, Ichiro and Sabathia can go die frankly.

Vernon wells is absolute garbage. Not MLB worthy. I'd release him if I were the angels.

What an embarassing at bat he just had. What on God's green earth was he swinging at? The pitch had to be 5-10 ft out of the strike zone.

Tonight's Lineup:

Escobar
Johnson
Bautista
Lind
Encarnacion
Thames
Lawrie
Rasmus
Arencibia

Morrow

Other Notes:

@Wilnerness590
Farrell: Wanted to unstack righties for Hunter, whom lefties hit well, and move Thames up in line-up.
Farrell: McGowan set to begin throwing program next week, hasn't pitched since March 25th.

Getting McGowan in a few weeks is going to give this top 5 a boost. There is no weak link in our rotation at all.

Ohh and by the way...http://www.torontosun.com/2012/04/12...-is-scary-good

Yeah thats right! Syndergaard and Sanchez are hitting 99 mph on the gun..LMFAO. In a few years I'm going to feel bad for teams who have to face our rotation. Sanchez and Syndergaard are only 19 years old. The one thing I worry about are arm injuries, knock on wood, although I do like the fact that the organization is watching how many innings they pitch.

“Those poor kids,” said assistant GM Tony LaCava, shaking his head and thinking about Lansing’s opponents. “One night they get Syndergaard and DeSclafani. The next night they get Sanchez and Nicolino.”

LOL!

Willingham has been beast for me, Chris Young is hitting well and same with Kemp, but that was expected.

Disappointed in McCann, Rollins, Teixeira, and Uggla. Although Tex is usually a slow starter so we'll see how everything turn out.

Yeah Nicolino is brutal on hitters. I think they hit like .150 against him when he was in Vancouver. He's gonna be a great lefty and same goes for Norris.

gotta love Zaun's "the **** are you on about?" face while Jamie tries awkwardly to do the facebook plug.

Good job by Rasmus to get that ball in quick, instead of just giving him the easy single.
