Ana pick for #2 center

Any team with center depth interested in the 6th overall pick for a YOUNG center who is signed longterm or a RFA? This center cannot be making alot of money. So no Stastny type salaries please.

To me I would be happy with any of the top 6 guys if we draft at 6 but we need a center and I seriously seriously doubt either of the top 2 centers will be there at 6.

My top 6:
Yakupov
Grigorenko
Galchenyuk
Murray
Forsberg
Dumba

I would totally be willing to add for the right guy.

EDIT: When I say #2 I mean a CLEAR #2. Please no Gagner.

Gagner is available. I'm sure the Oilers would be adding for 6th but something else can be worked out.

Eww... You better be adding a lot. We don't need another Cogliano transaction.

Ducks would be looking for someone better then Gagner, he isn't that much better then the Koivu/Holland platoon we could do the next year or 2.

You'd have to add, a substantive piece.

Grabovski? dont know if i would move him now... but if Galchenyuk is available (assuming we take Forsberg) i would do it

Grabovski + 35th overall?

If Statsny is a no with his contract, what makes you think Grabo with his would be a deal?

Lokitinov. Jokes I know that is not near enough.

Maybe look at Calgary for Backlund, or maybe St. Louise would give back Macdonald.

because Anaheim was very interested in Grabo earlier this year, so they should still have interest. If we get the pick we can get Glachenyuk and Forsberg.
1. Yakupov
2. Murray
3. Grigs
4. Dumba
5. Glachenyuk
6. Forsberg

You'll be better off with the pick.

Grabovski for ANAHEIM 6th overall

Trade 5th,6th overall picks to Edmonton for the 1st Overall pick

Draft Yakupov
EDM drafts Dumba,Galchenyuk

They do not have a similar output. Paul has three seasons over 70.

That is stupid IMO, why wouldn't you just add to the 6th overall to move up to 1st so you get the Gally-Yak combo, and choose their developement(ie: OHL 1 more, straight to AHL/NHL)

6th+Gunnarsson+Colborne+3rd round dp for 1st overall? 6th+ Schenn?

Pick Reinhart probably unless 1 of the top 2 dmen are still there

Grabo is a hard-working, 2 way, plays bigger than he is 60 pt player and in a few years, 70 so.. and Paul S. is 6.6 M, not the same as Grabo and worth more to COL's franchise than Grabo to ours IMO

A hell of a lot better than Ganger or Grabovski...

I would do that.. the only problem that lurks for the Ducks is Roy being UFA the same time as Getzlaf, Perry + RFA for Fowler...

Still would make this trade either way.

Derek Roy is young and signed long term? He is one year away from UFA status and he makes $5 million next season.

I have no idea what any of this means. Being worth more to Colorado isn't the same as Grabo having the same output. Neither is saying that he might someday do as well as Paul has.

We wouldn't have given in at the price you did, because we couldn't afford it. Just like we can't afford it, now.
