I would be happy if Vancouver lost the 1st round regardless of my playoff predictions.

Haha at Burrows going after Quick for practically no reason, what a loser.

Kings up by two going to Vanny? Can you say swee....t?

Nashville **** the bed. Damnit. They had to have teo going to detroit, that arena is going to be hostile as hell. Or dead. One of the two.

Rangers: yup.

Come on Florida, youre better than that.

And Philly beating down Pittsburgh. If Orpik wasnt on the Pens, i'd be celebrating so hard. But, sadly, he's still on that blue line and i have to cheer for them.

Nashville thoroughly dominated Detroit in every manner except on the scoreboard. Pekka had a really bad night. The three Detroit goals were soft shot on the left side, soft shot on the right side, and a garbage deflection off a skate. Neither of the first two should have gone in. At the other end, they just couldn't make it happen. Crossbars, posts, pucks hopping sticks on open net backdoor plays. It was just frustrating to watch.

But as I said earlier in the thread, if Detroit keeps getting dominated like that, they won't win another game.

Yeah I saw that too. Couldn't he have hit it away with his hand? I understand that he can't cover it with his hand while in the crease or it would be a penalty shot but would it still be a penalty shot had he just swiped it away without actually placing his hand over the puck?

The Wild complete the biggest collapse in NHL history, and Pouliot is playing for the bruins and scoring a playoff goal.

Of course, it had to be Pouliot.

That was his first playoff goal.

A Benny with effort is a pretty good player.

That's pretty much what the Wild and the Habs didn't know about him.

The Wild knew that but couldn't get the effort; something they have with Latendresse (when healthy). Of course, playing Pouliot with Boogaard (RIP) and handling his development the way they did was never going to help.

We got us a marathon in Boston this afternoon.

I got a feeling this could take 3 or more full OT periods.

That Boston game lasted so long, I only had to suffer 10 minutes of non-hockey time.

I watched an "I. M. Weasel" cartoon. Best intermission ever.

Dubinsky getting a game has to be one of the most unfair penalties in awhile.

Wasn't even a fight Boyle wasn't throwing anything back.

I didn't see what happened, came back in the room and Dubinsky was throwing Gatorade dispensers and NYR had a 5 minute PP. What all happened?

Carkner jumped Boyle. Totally gutless play. He's gone for the series.

Carkner hits Boyle clean, then drops the gloves and just sucker punches him like Boyle ****ed his sister or something. Dubinsky comes in to stand up for his teammate, all hell breaks loose and eventually Carkner (who was put in for Matt Gilroy so you knew this was coming) is gone along with Dubinsky for being the third man.

Carkner didn't even stop punching when Boyle was on the ground.

Boyle vs. Neil now. Everyone wants a piece of him.

Wow, surprised Boyle's not gone for that Neil fight. Looked like he punched the ref pretty deliberately.

Dubinsky's game misconduct is complete bs. Carkner was looking for nothing but trouble right from the opening faceoff.
