Alright, all kidding aside here are the keys for us:

1)Need a quick strike from Spezza or Alfredsson to quiet the crowd and get the Rangers to react;
2)Early shots on Anderson so he can get a feel for the game;
3)Use bottom six forwards to grind down the Ranger defense;
4)Bench Zenon Konopka .

Series can't start soon enough...

Thread 2. , Dan.

I have Zenon's Lada Togliatti jacket from when he went to Russia. His name is on the inside and just to help prove authenticity there was half an airline ticket with his name on it still in the pocket.

Guess you're not a potential buyer.

The Rangers need to do the following....

1.Use there speed, forwards need to help out the D
2.Secondary scoring
3.Gabs & Richards keep on clicking
4.Staal has to step it up
5.Henrik needs to be Henrik

Rangers just need to remind the Sens why they're the 8th seed.

Said it before:

The series is really up to the Rangers. If they lose, it'll be because they beat themselves. Ottowa will make them pay if they're not careful.

Sadly, that's probably what everyone is going to think in the unlikely event that Ottawa wins.

We are the ****ing Ottawa Senators, you have no idea who your team is ****ing with. You think your team holds the fate of this series thats a joke. If the Rangers had your mentality better yet pray they dont or else the Sens will be kicking their ass around.

Just trying to pump up this series hahahaha

Because we hit a mini-cold streak after we clinched?

Because we are a playoff team

Contrary to what the experts, who are now picking the Rangers, thought in September

Posts like this are ridiculous. So if you lose a series, it's not gonna be because of another team? Ridiculous.

It shows a lack of respect for the other team. I remember every game the sens won early, they never got any credit. They weren't "good" enough in everyone's eyes. Hate for the same thing to happen.

He's just saying the Rangers are a better team, it's not stretch.

Of course if the Sens advance they will have to have been on their A game and for that they get credit. But if both teams are on their A game I don't see the Sens winning this. That's all we mean when we say it's our series to lose.

If the series is played evenly and it comes down to pure ability, I think we win. Sorry.

The NHL is so close these days. Both teams can bring their A game and the underdog win. A bounce can win the series.

Rangers are the better team and it is theirs to loose. I just find the "we beat ourselves" excuse extremely lame. Especially in a best of 7 series.

The thing is, if the sens win, they win because they upped their game, and were the better team. But for people to continually state how sens get wins because other teams played badly and for no other reason is frankly annoying. The sens have played great at times but are inconsistent. Will be interesting to see which team the sens ice.

My point is precisely this:

If both teams come out swinging their A game, New York will win, and they'll do so handily. For Ottowa to win, they'll need the Rangers to be anything but their best.

If the Rangers are sloppy, or lazy, Ottowa is the type of team that will capitalize. If the Rangers play the way they did almost all season (good enough for the most regulation wins in the league), there's no question.

Sorry if that feels disrespectful, but that's what you have to expect in a 1-8 match up. The best of both teams will go easily to the 1.

I'm not saying the Sens would win the series just because of the Rangers, but for the Sens to win with the Rangers clicking at 110% they're gonna have to really play insane hockey. I feel like for us to lose Anderson's gonna have to go into God mode, we'll have to play a bad game or two, or the Sens get a bounce. I think we're better and head to head, all other things being equal, we win this series. That's just my opinion.

If only we had Joel Ottowa on our team we'd win every faceoff.

If Sens bring their A game and Anderson stands on his head, it doesn't matter what Rangers bring. But go ahead and think it's going to be easy if rangers play well.

Are some Ranger fans purposefully spelling it Ottowa or all you all dumb? It's in the title... come on!

Of course I'm unemployed for 8 months, finally get a job and I have work on Thursday, Saturday and Monday but have off on Friday and Sunday -.-

Not to mention Karlsson and Spezza. Sens have much better top end talent than the rangers do. Rangers are a great team, but in this completely useless and hypothetical argument, I'd take the sens.

Now I never said easy, (he did). With both teams at 100% I think it goes 6, 7 if Anderson steals one. For us to win in 4 or 5 the Sens have to **** up.
