If they don't go 16 and 0 that's a complete failure and they need to give the Cup to Pittsburgh, obviously.

Since that is clearly impossible if they pull that off (going 16-0) then they DEFINITELY deserve the cup

Well if we go 8-0 and then lose all our games to Pittsburgh in overtime and then they go on to win the SC finals in regulation and then it is found that one of their key players is transgender and the courts have to make a decision meaning we win the Cup - I believe we would both then go 16-0 (kind of) but that they would forfeit their last 8 games... long shot I know...

The waiting is over! Not sure what was longer, last years entire off-season or the wait between Saturday and today

Come out fast, let them know whose boss. Can't wait for the puck drop.

60 minutes of NYR hockey tonight.

Just saw a stat in the WSJ that said that since the lockout, there have been 8 instances where the lower seed won the season series. The higher seed is 7-1 in those situations.

How about this stat.. Leafs are the only team post-lockout to not have made it to the playoffs.. oof!

Will Rangers meet the winner of Philly - Pens in the 2 nd round in the playoffs(if the overcome Sens ofcourse) ?

There are some people who talks about New Jersey or Florida in the 2 nd round too so I am confused

There is re-seeding every round... so Rangers play whoever is lowest seeded, which means:

If Caps>Bruins, Rangers face Caps.
If Devils>Panthers, Rangers face Devils, unless Caps beat Bruins.
If Panthers>Devils, Rangers face winner of Pitt-Philly series, unless Caps beat Bruins.

This is a really good looking GDT Just stopping by to wish these teams a great series. And thanks to all the Rangers fans who have come over to our board and been respectful, fun people to talk to during the seemingly loooong wait for this series to start.

Here's to an awesome series full of clean, entertaining hockey!

Ok, thank you Sir. Learning something new about the NHL everyday.
