The draft pick doesn't get worse unless they make the conference finals.
So the Preds can safely win one round without affecting the draft pick whatsoever.
Also, rooting for lower seeds to make the CFs is also a good thing.

Canucks have no business being in this game (and as I type this, they tie it). The Kings have been the better team by far.
Granted, the Nucks haven't helped their cause by playing shorthanded most of the game.
