kane's had a better start, winning a cup in his 3rd year, an exciting player to watch in the playoffs as a 2nd year player the year before, but with edmonton up and coming it's not unreasonable to think taylor hall could even it up or surpass kane down the line.
Patrick Kane is ahead in terms of skills and experience than Hall so far. I don't see Kane ever being a 90+ point guy consistently (something most people thought after his breakout year) but neither will Hall.
Kane is a good bet for 70+ points each year and a guy that elevates his game in the playoffs.
When talking about each guy's career, the team they play for matters alot. And both these guys are on teams that could have an entire decade of success.
But Chicago has already won a cup, there is no guarantee for Edmonton any time soon. I say Kane will have the better career, only because the great start is already in the books.
Kane has already done so much in his career while only being 3 years older. His playoff resume is VERY good and hes scored almost 90 points one season.
Hall I just cant get on that bandwagon, with his style of play hes going to miss a good chunk of games with injury. As a wings fan it pains me to say that I would rather have that weasel little blackhawk

Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
Keep in mind that Kane is in a better situation as of right now, but as the Oilers are an up and coming team. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the answer is Hall when all is said and done.
If I Hall could learn a little bit of Kane's ability to avoid unnecessary contact with his speed and quickness this would be much closer. As is I'm very uncomfortable with Hall's ability to stay on the Ice for 70+ games a year.
Hall hasn't impressed me yet, and he should learn from Kane by not fighting, getting into scrums, and just avoiding physical contact for the most part.
