Difficult game tonight, a loss would be acceptable but not a Smith shutout. Predicting an OT win, Kane with the winner.

I really doubt there will be that many goals scored, I'm guessing 2-1 or 3-2

The nerves are setting in now. At this rate I'll be drunk by game time.

Not used to these 10 o'clock starts and hafta work tomorrow, so half game at most live, the rest will be PVR'ed.

GO HAWKS!

I'm working on this myself, I'll probably be staggering by puck drop.

Look at it this way: We didn't start early if it was a normal puck drop time.

Well, I started at 4. I'm only 7 deep right now, but the pace is speeding up since I ran out of microbrews and have moved on to **** beer.

Hawks win a nailbiter 2-1 in OT.

Kane buries it, Shaw and Doan have the other two.

Crawford with 32 saves and the second star.

Possibly Hayes, Brunette (Q's boy, not mine) or Kruger in the 2LW spot.
I agree with you and BobbyJet and I'm on record as saying I'd rather see the lines you listed. But, it's going to be what it's going to be and hopefully it works. Go Hawks! I'll be at my local bar drinking and hoping for a win!

My friends are all pretty much clueless when it comes to following the league as a whole, while I have been following players like Nuge, Henrique and Landeskog the entire season to see how they do. Right now, they far and away look like the front-runners to win the Calder trophy, and without a doubt in my mind if the voting was today then those three would be the finalists.

However, there is one exception to that. IF Andrew Shaw goes out and performs stellar in the playoffs, let's say in 25 games he has 15 goals and 30 points. Would it be that farfetched for him to be a finalist?

Considering the Avalanche didn't make the playoffs, and this is nothing against Gabriel, while he had a phenomenal regular season that may or may not hurt Landeskog's chances. Same thing with Nugent-Hopkins, plus, with an injury-riddled season he didn't live up to his full potential. Enter Andrew Shaw, who lit twelve lamps and assisted on 11 this season in 37 games.

If you factor him playing a whole 82 games, that's 24 with a 74-game resume. If he plays a full season, does Andrew Shaw get consideration for the Calder? More specifically, if he goes through with the season he had and amazes this playoffs, will he be talked about for the race?

Let the flaming commence.

Regular season awards are decided before the playoffs start.

I thought that was pretty funny. "My friends are all clueless, whereas I am very knowledgeable!" ...proceeds to utterly screw up how regular season awards are awarded...

At this point my only wish for the playoffs is for the Hawks to annihilate the Coyotes and put the Desert Dogs out of their misery once and for all.

It would be nice if J.T. scores a few game winners. Hawks in 4. Hopefully two games are won by 4 or more goals - preferably the games in Phoenix.
