He has looked good for the Preds for the past couple of months (maybe more, wasn't really watching Nashville that closely before) when he has been healthy. He has often been paired with Gill and provides Hal with the mobile, puck moving partner he needs. When Josi was out for a few games, the Preds looked like they missed him. Hal should be a good mentor for him too (although it's not as if Nashville has a shortage of experienced NHL Dmen a young guy can look up to). He appears to have a good career ahead of him IMO.
Yeah, I think so too. I haven't watched too many Predators games, so it's interesting to see what they've got on D. Gill is a great mentor to have for their young D too. If the Preds do lose Suter to free agency, Nashville will probably be okay on D if they can keep Weber.

You can't possibly be serious. That was clear intent to injure. Weber didn't only rub his face against the glass. After the initial questionable hit, he pulled the head back with his hand and then smashed it back. Dirty and dangerous.
In my mind, there was more obvious intent here than in Chara's hit on Pacioretty. I like Suter, but that has to suspendable.
