Just finished the game, **** YEAH! What a game!!!! Richards is a BEAST!!!! Doughty is a BEAST!!!!!! We dominated this game, even without our power plays. I hope the Canucks are SCARED! They should be.
The only bad thing I have to say is about Stoll and Martinez. Dear lord, Stoll needs to stay out of the box and not get kicked out of the circle. A-Mart better be careful or he won't be in the next game. He got an assist, but he had to have given up the puck a good 5 times at least.
**** yeah. **** the Nucks. All the reason I have hated that team over the past 4-5 years came flooding back...What a joke. How can Kesler, Luongo, Lapierre, H.Sedin and the rest of those divers take themselves seriously...even Brown stepped it up, played tough, no going down easy, in playoffs you man up. What a joke of team VAN has, Kings are going to take them out I feel it!!!

Reading through this thread - there are a lot of fans from other teams stopping by to congratulate the Kings on beating the Canucks ... or I guess I should call them the hated Canucks.
Congrats Kings and Kings fans. Was that game great or what? I love playoff hockey - especially when the nucks lose.
BTW - the first nuck goal should have been disallowed due to goalie interference. Did you see Kesler accidently on purpose flailing away like he had been hit by a Kings player and then oops- just happen to bump into Quick and knock him out of position to stop Burrows' shot? The refs discussed it and then let the goal stand - bad non-call. But in the end, justice triumphed!
You guys are absolutely going to love what Richards brings to your team in the playoffs, despite the fact that his regular season offensive numbers haven't been spectacular. This guy is an absolute beast come crunch time. I was heartbroken when my Leafs couldn't snag him from the Flyers. This, in my opinion, is the best individual playoff performance I've seen in a number of years, from the 2010 playoffs:
Key highlights are his early hit, obviously the first goal, the second assist and the hustle he shows on the empty netter assist. He was simply not going to allow the Flyers to do anything but win that game.
That shorthanded goal against the canadiens is what made him my favorite player outside of the Avs. you guys are so lucky to have him on your team. Hope he knocks the **** out of every canuck
