after reading DP this morning TMAC is preparing us for White to play this series , sure hope not ....have enough with Murray don't need two turtles....go sharks
In the context of Todd's comments regarding his player's understanding of the Blues' system, it immediately occurred to me that his use of Colin White would be the litmus test of whether *he* understood this.
Don't care if it makes me wrong in the pool, the Sharks better win tonight. Got into work extra early today in the hope that I can leave in time to catch most of the game. Goooooo Sharks!
If he does that, it pretty much proves he doesn't 'get it'. You beat the trap with superior puck movement, not freaking Colin White.
I don't have a problem with White being in the lineup, as he's actually played well as of late, but I have a big problem with White AND Murray being in the lineup. I'm sure TMac will defend this decision by arguing that we need them both in to counter the physicality and forecheck of the Blues, but like you said, it's much more important to be able to get the puck out of the zone quickly when dealing with a team like that. Does TM not remember how the defense fell apart when we lost Demers' puck moving abilities in the playoffs last year against a fast, heavy forechecking Canucks team?

They didn't have a 6'5 horse that can carry pucks out of trouble either. Between Burns, Boyle and Braun they should be able to move the puck.
Pollock is senior. Pollock is an average skater, Sutherland excellent. Expect limited calls. Sutherland is attentive to safety, Pollock is not.
This pairing is a gift to the Sharks. With the relative special teams play in head-to-head matchups, the Sharks are better off playing 5on5. This is their chance.

The only franchise that has gone longer without a Stanley Cup than the Blues or Kings is the Toronto Maple Leafs, who last won in 1967. He's been tweeting up a storm this morning with all kinds of stats; check 'em out
Soooo, this isn't going to be on Center Ice? It's not showing up under the line up (no games are) and NBCSN and NHL Network are showing Caps/Bruins and Sens/Rangers. Do I get to look forward to none of the playoff games being aired in Seattle because NBC thinks I care more (or at all) about the Bruins?? Anyone else have the same problem?
I can't find them on the schedule down here in So Cal either.
