That's a seriously reasonable price when you think about it.
And I really need headphones! I'm just about to buy the Klipsch's... but I figured I'd take suggestions.

Class registration has always been a pain in the ass. I can only imagine how bad it was before the advent of online registration. Registrars must have had it rough then.
I'm looking for a new pair of headphones, preferably with a mic and possibly Android controls.
Leaning towards Klipsch S4A.
Anyone recommend something? In the $75-100 range. Paging onefatsurfer?
I don't really know much about mic'ed headphones, and those with android controls.. I am a huge Ultimate Ears (now owned by Logitech) fanboy, so in your price range, I'd suggest going for one of their less expensive models. The UE500's are supposedly very good, both for the price and overall. I've heard good things about the UE600's, too. Having heard their more expensive stuff and their cheapie model (the 100's) which sound way better than most of the $10-20 crap out there, I wholeheartedly recommend their stuff.
No mic, but for the price, they are UNBELIEVABLY good. They go on sale occasionally in the $30 or so range, too (I snagged a pair for $25). They are a KILLER in bang for the buck. I prefer the sound of these things to my $100 pairs (the Monster Turbines and Etymotic HF3's).

That's a downright cheap price. Whoever owned that car put $20k into it, easily, did all the labor, and are selling it for a fantastic price. I wish I had the $ to drop on that. I'd literally sell all 3 of my cars (probably worth ~$20k combined) and just have that, but it's not in the cards right now. Best part is that it has super low miles, and since they use a toyota engine, you know the motor will still be fine.

Yea, I got to go through and throw out all the ops resumes/cover letters with grammatical/spelling errors
From the little I know of this girl, hire her. I'll do the on the job training. Insert wink here.

Those in digital marketing have it pretty sweet. I have a friend that does social media/some digital marketing and he's in pretty casual clothing all the time.
In general though, Ops has it pretty good. A collared shirt isn't bad at all. Compare it to what I was wearing at MSG on a daily basis... I would have loved just wearing a polo every day in comparison.

Was at the Mets game yesterday and first noticed it on the drive back. I want to say one of the people in my car first noticed it somewhere around the Triboro Bridge. Saw the big plume of smoke in the air. Likely we could have seen it sooner, but we weren't looking. So lets say it was definitely visible from Queens or the Bronx then. Even though I knew it would make the traffic worse after coming across the GW Bridge, I went to the turnpike to try to check it out. This was probably around 4:30/5 PM but you could tell that it was pretty huge and over a wide area from what I could see on the highway. Pretty crazy. Traffic was a mess with road closures, detours, and people trying to go alternate routes, but that was expected.

Know this feel. On Monday I had more or less my final project/presentation for my entire MBA program that night. I honestly didn't start prepping anything for my part until about 2 hours before I had to leave the house. Had no idea what was going on/what I was going to talk about until I started at that point. Nailed the presentation. I totally encourage the "sleep 12 hours, panic and work for 1" method.

i'm getting better at going for speed over quality and sacrificing the A- for a B+ in favor of an extra two hours of not writing papers.
Sounds like you're summarizing my adventures in the American education system since high school. I know I had many great achievements in BSing my way through work. Even though it probably wasn't my best, one that always jumps out at me is something my senior year of HS in an English class. We had to do book reports on some sort of book (our choice) from the summer reading list. I never read any of the books. Never bought any either. But I happened to choose the same one as my 2-3 friends that were in the same class. They all read the book and got grades in the B to B+ range. All I did was read the one paragraph summary on the back of the book once, wrote my report and got an A. The fact that there was almost nothing less I could have done is what makes me so proud of that one.

I don't think she made the cut from 150 to 17.
I'm not upset, just not surprised I'm the only one to get dinged for something everyone else has done before me.

Another thing you could do is buy all of the headphones at Best Buy that you want to try, try them out, and just return whatever you don't want.
Now I'm really considering the ATs considering how cheap they are...
But the UE500vm look like exactly what I want, and I am actually a big Logiech fanboy... I know their warranty/customer service is solid. I might just grab those...
Time to read more reviews. Thanks for the links.
Edit: My problem is I had a pair of Klipsch S4's that I just can't find. I don't know if I left them on a job, in my house somewhere, etc. So I know I really, really like that pair. And on top of that they're rated #3 on that price range on the shootout you linked, which is the highest rated available with a mic. I think I'm just going to get them...

They had 150 applicants? Is that normal? If they get that many, how did I interview for that position 3 times, and get offered it once (would have been twice had Bill not been mad I turned him down once). I question this organization sometimes...
Did someone just say something? Or was it actually some kind of a warning with the attire?

Yea. I'm afraid to ask. If 150 is normal I don't know how I got it

If you want to try out the Audio-Technicas, I'll bring 'em next tuesday to the game and you can borrow 'em

I appreciate the offer but I think I'm going to stick to something with a mic. I use my Android phone as an MP3 player - EQ options, lots of storage space, GPS work out monitoring, etc - so it's a pain to unplug a headset when you get a call and all that.
I'm leaning heavily on the Klipsch S4A still... but not fully committed.
Nightmare of a time registering right now for classes.
Everything that can go wrong is. I may have to wait and check everyday to try and get into a class or two. I hate doing that.

Consider your self very lucky. As one of those kids whose parents had to scrounge money together, I was always late registering. It sucked, plain and simple. Chasing professors, arguing with the registrar, then running to the Bursars..... i had a bunch of those 8am classes or late afternoon classes, and they blew.
What was worse; RIT had a quarter system, so I had to do this 3 times a year minimum.
