This is oversimplifying things just a tad. The Kings' defense has been sound. The Nucks had a LOT of shots, just not high quality shots. Also, Luo has been great, so the Kings have had to be slightly better in order to score. To just say the nucks have been beating themselves takes any credit from the Kings whatsoever.

the Canucks are beating themselves by naming a playoff choker captain of the team, naming an idiot as an coach, they are missing another playoff choker in Daniel Sedin, but that doesn't matter because he will just make us look worse anyways. It is really too bad because Gillis brought us a good team on paper, too bad it had to be ruin by poor leadership from our coach and captain.

I'm tired so I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but this series is faaaaar from over. Despite not winning the past two games, the Nucks have kept it very close. The change at atmosphere for game 3 will either be the nail in the coffin, or the changing point.

Our own fan base has its own issues and i think alot of our fans comments can be uncalled for at times, but why is it some kings fans think we underestimated them?

You were the 8th seed but far better then that on paper. Cbc panel picked the kings, the canucks players said pre game, this is going to be an incredibly tough series, they have a great team.

They are not playing well, they are not underestimating the kings at all. AV even came out and praised the kings team before the series.

The kings no doubt are playing above what anyone expected. Please ask yourself have you seen the kings play this well all season?

I was on your forum when you guys lost the last game to the sharks. How quickly things change. Nobody underestimated them, but they are a night and day different team suddenly. Underestimating is giving the kings no credit as a threat, and that did not happen at all. Despite a few of our own fans who I infact argued with.

I guess it has to do with a lot of people predicting that the Canucks would easily win the series and the Kings would be lucky if Quick could steal a single win. Not all Canucks fans were saying that, but for some reason the negative stuff seems to be more memorable. It's just the human way.
