Hey Local Fans, Help Me Out!!!

So i live down here in So Fla and got tix for game 2 from Ticketmaster. Today i get a call from within Sales from the Panthers Office telling me he can get me a lower section for a cheaper price than i got from Ticketmaster or cheaper prices for other games. He had the price i paid, my order number, and everything from Ticketmaster.

Anyone ever hear of this happening? Is it legit?

33 bucks (including ticketmaster fees) for row 8 in the 400's. This guy says he can get row 1 for 5 bucks cheaper than i paid.

There has to be a hook to this, sounds too good to be true.

Yeah i just dont understand how they work with Ticketmaster. Why would ticketmaster let the panthers take this or future sales away from them and at a cheaper price.

I checked stubhub for game 2 and tickets were double the price. Cheapest ones were 66 bucks.

Because if I'm not mistaken if you buy season tickets for next year you get the price per game of the season seat for the playoffs entirely. Let's say you pay 36.25 for 300 endzone then your playoff totals for that section will be 36.25/game

I picked mine up before the seats went on sale to general public, i paid 112 for two in section 329 and for game two 250 for section 117 row 3.

Any how, It sounds legit..

That works for the number of seats you have in your season ticket plan. I had a friend who needed a seat and while I got a discount on the extra seats it was more than I paid for my 2 season seats

Hang up, call the Panthers ticket office back using their official phone number so you know you're talking to someone legit, then ask for the same deal the guy offered you when he called you.

Smart advice for any sort of suspicious sounding official call that you get. Don't take them for their word, call them yourself so you absolutely know who you're talking to. If they're legit, they'll totally understand.

This is 100% legit. I am a rep with the Florida Panthers and we do get leads from Ticketmaster. We attempt to get them to order directly from the team in the future. It is also a way of reaching out to people who purchase multiple individual games and try and get people into full and partial season ticket packages.

People naturally go through Ticketmaster without realizing that the tickets directly from the team are often the same or better price and we don't have the $15+ of convenience fees per seat
