As Leafs fans just curious to see which Canadian teams are the most hated/liked around here.
Rank them from most hated to most liked:
Mine (as a family)
1) Ottawa
-the annoying little brother that always bothers you. i.e. Brag that they've rebuilt in one year and made the playoffs. Hoping for a 1st round exit.
2) Edmonton
-the spoiled cousin that always shows off the shiny new toy they got and won't share it. i.e.: Hall, RNH, Yakupov.
3) Montreal
-your sister's ******* French boyfriend. Habs haven't bothered me that much this season cause they sucked as bad as us but still seems like when there's an anti-Leaf thread they chime in.
4) Vancouver
-The cousin that dives when you give them a little push and goes to tell on you. Geek through high school now graduated into a good office job.
5) Winnipeg
- Cousin from another country that just moved in. Don't really have anything against them..yet.
6) Calgary
- The 40 year old divorced uncle who thinks he's still in his 20s and has a shot to bang hot chicks. Lol I have nothing against the Flames and symphatize with them as were going through similar situations.
2. Winnipeg - Fans are really annoying, I live in Regina so there are a lot of Jets fans around here. Many don't even like hockey but are basically jumping on a new teams bandwagon.
3. Calgary - Just a boring team to watch, a lot of players past their prime. Need to rebuilt, and probably in worse shape then we are.
4. Ottawa - Its Ottawa, I would say they are about tied with Calgary, I actually don't mind watching Sens games they can be exciting to watch.
5. Vancouver - Not going to lie I was cheering for them last June. Really disappointed they lost to Boston, but nonetheless they are a fun team to watch.
6. Edmonton - Edmonton is awesome to watch, they will be scary good in a few years. If I had to choose a favourite team in the West, I would pick them for sure.
3. - Diving, gutless *******. We also haven't beaten them in 9 years.
4. - A lot of fans I know are arrogant and think they are high and mighty because they got their team back (Not saying this is the majority, but still...).
5. - Nothing against them because they aren't even a threat. They need a rebuild, fast.
6. - Young and exciting. The RW era Leafs of the West.
2) Vancouver - Don't like the way they play. Or the fact that they cream the Leafs every time they play them.
3) Winnipeg - Like the way they play, don't really understand their fans and why they boo every star player that comes into their building.
4) Ottawa - Used to be number 2 before I moved here. Developed somewhat of a soft spot for 'em. They're a well coached, fun team to watch.
5) Edmonton - Jealous of their elite talent, but I don't really have anything against them.
6) Calgary - Feel bad for their fans. I actually kinda hope they realize that they need to rebuild.
same rankings for me ... although for different reasoning ... i've never liked the Sens, my sister used to like them, which made me despise them even more lol
Vancouver - just a classless organization over the last few years
Montreal - Gionta Subban...I think he has it coming if he continues to be cocky
Ottawa - Alfie, Spezza, Foligno, and the toothless gnome Neil
Edmonton - they get all the shiny new toys
Calgary - just rebuild already.....you don't have a choice
Winnipeg - I actually like what they are doing
funny post but I could NEVER even pretend I was in someway related to any other Canadian team because then that means somewhere deep down I love them... which for me could never be true

Calgary: Nothing against the team whatsoever. I like Iggy and Kipper. Only thing I got against them is a few fans on HFBoards and the fact that their management and ownership refuse to rebuild. We've been down that path here in Leafs land and we've seen the piss poor results. Dislike the Flames.
Winnipeg: Loud obnoxious fanbase that thinks they're the **** when they get their team back. For whatever reason their fans feel the need to start a rivalry with us. Who the **** are they? They just got their team back. Show some bloody humility. Really dislike the Thrashers.
Montreal: I like Price and Subban. This rivalry has really cooled down over the past few years. History and an annoying, crazy, arrogant and obnoxious fanbase keep this rivalry alive. Hate the Habs.
Ottawa: Ottawa "re-tooled" the right way, so credit to them for that. I can't stand guys like Neil, Konopka, Carkner et all. Their fanbase is also really pushy with their threads on these boards. "ZOMG Karlsson is teh BESTESTEST!" "Sens have the best prospect pool in ze hole wiDe WORLD". They also make many sneaky threads to pimp their players and prospects. I can't stand when they come into our board and tell us what's what, and they can't shut up about us over on their side. ****ing hate the Sens.
Edmonton: Hatred for this team is all from their HFBoards fans. Most obnoxious fanbase on this site. "RNH, Hall, EBERLE! LOLZ!" Yeah good job sucking the past three years, really easy to tank. That's right, your team tanked, don't deny it. Their fans also really like to takne an interest in Leafs related things, there's always a bunch of them chiming in in Leafs related threads. Obnoxious and arrogant fanbase, hate the Oilers. Wish nothing but more suffering and losing for that team. Good luck trying to put together a team when 20 million dollars are spent on four forwards.
Vancouver: Whiners and divers, from management to the players. Irrational hate for not just the team, but the city of Toronto itself (seriously, wtf?). Gillis litterally had that core fall into his lap. Burke and Nonis had already assembled those pieces for him for years. Sedins, Kesler, Luongo, Bieksa, Edler, Burrows, and Raymond were all waiting for Gillis on a silver platter, yet they don't give credit to Burke or Nonis at all for acquiring those pieces. Fanbase is really cocky and arrogant. Hate the Canucks.

4 Edmonton...tanking year after year, no pride or self respect
5 Winnipeg...Cocky, arrogant
6 Calgary...i actually like because of Jarome Iginla
Just randomly browsing, I won't comment on the rankings. It's your guy's opinion and that's cool but OP, that was hilarious. All I wanted to say really.

2. ottawa - alfie the clown, neil, the playoff history (which we own)
3. winnipeg - fans are so annoying its not even funny..hope they continue to be a mediocre team that just misses the playoffs forever
4. edmonton - pisses me off how they keep getting 1st round picks..and they have a lazy GM who likes to do 0 work and pass it off as a 'rebuilding through the draft' when in fact he's just passive and will never help that team win a championship. Its just the management that annoys me though, I don't mind the team..I'd like to have Ryan Jones on my team
