All the Sens have to do is split the first two games to send the Rangers into a panic.

This series is a LONG ways from over, certainly not like the Rangers have looked all that great tonight.

I'm definitely rooting for Washington, although I still think Boston will actually win the series. If the Caps can upset, then the Devils wouldn't face the Rags in the 2nd round if NJ can beat the Panthers. The last thing I need is to see the Devils get eliminated by the Rangers again.

Sens were one of the best third period teams. We'll see.

That's the thing.. they haven't.

3-0 score aside, they've spent 80% of this game buried in the defensive zone. Their D are playing amazing but I'll take 80% time of possession any day.

If Anderson or the Senators defense were halfway decent, this game is 1-0 at worst (the third goal).

Ottawas the best team in the league at overcoming deficits in the 3rd period. Let's hope that holds true in tonight.

Think of the very first game these two teams had this regular season. Sens down 4-1 in the 3rd, came back and won 5-4.

Rather it be against one of the Penn teams because that is who we would get. I think wishing for matchups goes out the window once the regular season ends. Now its just win and you play who you play.

lol at Boston's power play. Maybe Keith Jones wasn't being loony after all when he said in the pregame he'd have started Holtby over Vokoun and Neuvirth even if they were both healthy. I can't believe Boston's outshooting them 26-8 and it's still scoreless.

Great job by Caps to kill off those Bruins PP's> Holtby is standing on his head shots are now 26-7 in favor of the Bruins.

The Rangers are clearly sending a message though. And I really don't think they lose in the first round this year, tough matchup or no tough matchup. They just don't have the look of a team that's going to flame out early and I've been saying this since that dumb around the world trip they somehow went .500 on to start the season.
