They don't need to let loose, they need to tighten the **** up defensively. Unfortunate breakdowns in our own zone. We had a great first half of the second period and collapsed.

I expect a better third but knowing this team, they'll score two goals in the last five minutes and lose in true heart breaking fashion. Heh.

Lol guys...step back from the ledge. It's just one game, and it's not over.

The ice is terrible. Neither team is looking good. The sens will be fine in this series. The goal is to get the split.

What it seems to me is if the Sens get one past Lundqvist, the gates will open. He's in their heads right now.

So frustrating to watch Ottawa suck and be on the losing end so far when the Rangers aren't that great.

While I am disappointed with the result so far, there's no need to panic or become angry. This is the first 40 minutes of a 7 game series. We are obviously the underdog (8 vs 1) and we have a young team without much playoff experience. It's pretty much expected the 8 should lose the first game against the 1. It'll be more interesting to see how they respond in game 2 and 3. PP needs to be much better though.

No way we get 4 goals in the third. Lundqvist is too hot

CBC stole ours and put him on the Caps / Bruins series.

We would be doing much better if half the team you started showing some battle. They need to start competing harder and finishing their checks. They need to start showing a desire to win.

Kinda hard to finish checks when the other team passes the puck before you get near them.

The team is just a bit off, which has happened all year when we've had a long layoff. They can't complete any passes (the bad ice isn't helping), which means they can't get the puck into positions where they can actually hit the other team.

They'll be better next game. #notworried

Agreed. That's why so many of the projected line-ups for next year scare me.... add more raw rookies and get even less physical... I know Silf and Zbad will both hit - but they won't be physical next year.

It's CBC for playoffs normally sportsnet CBC has the rights to the Boston game and are playing during the intermission.
