Could have sworn an hour or two ago this season and core was done and we were gonna get swept and it was time to blow up the team.

Maybe the warning earlier tonight wasn't clear enough:

STOP TALKING ABOUT BANNED MEMBERS.

Yes, Havlat scored. Yes, we all know what that means with regards to certain past members of the board.

Now stop it.

If anyone insists on continuing to bring it up every time Havlat does something, we're going to have to start looking at stepping up past just deleting posts.

Baker talking to Boyle

Baker: "Was fatigue a factor?"

Boyle: (elevated voice) "I hope not! I hope not!"

I love that for years we would be on the opposite side of this game, where we would outplay the opponent and still lose like the Blues just did. I guess we got the killer instinct now?

Havlat has as many goals in this first game as Heatley had in the entire playoffs last year... Not a Heater hater but people were doing that Havlat has only 2 goals joke earlier this year.

not in the clear at all... but havlat gave some assurance. definitely better than heatley as far as playoff shuffles go, but we still have to face a good team with a good game plan. i'm feeling confident that the sharks can compete, but not that we can win a best of 7. not quite yet.

Amazing Win! Why are we so awesome in playoff overtime. The opposite of choking. Also how are we so bad in the 4th and so great in the 5th?

Lol don't say that. He might trip off the bench again.

oh man.... that one felt nice. series changer i hope. YESSSSSSSSSSSS.

nemo stole us that game. boyle was solid. burns was solid. havlat stepped up when we needed him and thats apparently why we got him. thornton i thought was great defensively.

all that being said though, nemo was the reason we won, he was sickeningly good.

got home ice now, hopefully we can come home up 2-0 in game 2 though the sharks cant quit playing offence if they get the lead again.

i thought halak looked REALLY shaky all night.

It took Havlat some time to warm up. Patty could still use blowing up though, or maybe someone could spike his gatorade with Meth.

Sorry about that, I lurk just enough to understand board jokes, but not enough to get board rules.

I noticed Moore a lot more than I normally do, don't know if that's a good thing or not.

I know Havlat was going to be great. Hell he just tied Heatley's first year with us playoff goal total

Awesome freaking win.
