This is what the Sharks have been missing. Weather the storm, keep playing your game, play great defense, have great goaltending and capitalize when you get your chance.

Marty freaking Havlat...wow...but how clutch was Desjardins???? Love it. Wish Mitchell could finish, but I thought most of the team played very well. It's a GREAT feeling. Won't be able to sleep tonight!
GO SHARKS!!!!!

Huge win for the Sharks. Rest up and prepare for Saturday. Marleau needs to wake up. We need more from the 1st line. Mitchell-Moore-Galiardi needs to be broken up. Can't finish and they were terrible defensively. 2nd line was the best line and thank you Wingels and Desi for that game tying goal. Nemo stole this game. Havlat was clutch. Lego Sharks!

Last Sharks playoff OT winning goal was Rissmiller in 2007 vs Nashville, according to Rusanowski.
(Edit: he might have said "double-OT" but I missed it)

The Sharks weren't outplayed that badly. St. Louis had zone time but alot of low percentage shots. It reminded me of a past Sharks playoff game.

Great game. This year could potentially have a lot of upsets.

Hitchcock speaking to the media. Trying to defuse the pressure on his young, inexperienced squad...
"They (Sharks) want to make amends for their season."
We'll see what kind of mettle the Blues have in Game 2.
