The 3rd man in rule relates to an "altercation in progress." Doesn't have to be a fight. By the letter of the law that's the right call. Sucks a little for Dubinsky, but it is what it is. Maybe they have to look at rewriting it, but then you get into a danger area.

I found it funny that the ref was literally 2 feet away from an assault, with his arm up in the air, watching it happen. Boyle's gloves were glued on. Dubinsky had to do it. Sucks for him.

Looking at your recent posts in this thread, it seems you have some weird dislike for the Rangers. If anything, they're getting screwed this game. The only undeserving penalty was probably the "elbow".
Agreed. Most of the Rangers are fake tough guys. The only respectable one is Callahan and maybe a few other random ones. Boyle is getting what he deserves.

I dislike every team but the Bruins. Anisomov dove clearly and the elbow shouldn't have been a penalty. The only thing they were screwed on was Dubinsky getting kicked out, but it's the rule and the refs have made up for it with PP's.

Really stupid hit, need to see another replay. I hate how the refs don't let the players stick up for their teammate. They break it up. Would expose a lot of fake tough guys from every team if the refs would get out of the way.
Prust on Karlsson is exactly like Marchand in the Final but Marchand was penalized obviously lol. Was Karlsson embellishing bad? I can't even tell anymore
