This! Question is, do you shuffle lines and put Loki with Richards and Carter and move King to the 3rd line?
Also wouldn't Clune or Hunter or Moreau or any one that would be called up use up the last callup that the Kings have and then thye'd be screwed if someone else goes down?

What chemistry? Heck, Sutter changed the lines with less than 5 minutes to go in game one, that's how Penner/Carter/Richards ended up together on the game winner.
Lokti on the 3rd line is fine by me, I'd try him with Nolan and King.
Sutter changed the lines because Clifford was out. A 3rd line with 3 rookies is playoff suicide, especially if AV is going to match the Sedin line against it.
Why break up the chemistry of the lines? If you put Lokti in just slot him in where Clifford was. No idea why you guys want him on the 3rd line.
I think the choice here is:
a) break up the chemistry and put Lokti where he fits
b) don't break up chemistry, put Lokti where he'll be under-utilized
It's a tough call. I honestly don't think it will serve either the Kings nor Lokti to have him on the 4th line. Grinding on the 4th line is not his strong suit. Hell he sucks at it.
Whether it is Lokti or Westy they will play no more than 5:00 min of ice time. The extra 6 or 7 min will go to double shift wingers depending on game situations. So for this case I would go with Westgarth to keep Vancouver from taking liberties.

Don't know how many times this needs to be said, But Goons don't stop anyone from doing anything.
Except maybe fighting them square up. Burrows is going to be the same Sh%&t head no matter who is in the lineup or on the ice.
The players today (due in large part of the instigator rule) HAVE ZERO respect for each-other. Some 240 pound gorilla that plays 5 mins and can barely skate. Stops nothing from happening in today's NHL.

Doesn't change the fact that Sutter alter the lines both when Clifford first went out, and then later in the game when he moved Penner to the Richards/Carter unit. Lines will be juggled throughout the game and series, all it is is how they start the game.
I'd be willing to toss those three out together for a shift or two to start then rotate as needed. Match ups only really matter at whistles. As long as that line doesn't do something dumb like ice the puck, they'd be fine.

I agree with this but my only problem is that Westgarth doesnt have a mean streak. We need him trying to rip somebodies head off, not clapping his hands.

That gorilla looked pretty good last playoffs.
No he didn't, he simply didn't screw up. He didn't take any dumb penalties or do anything to cost the team.
It's easy to impress when people expect nothing out of you.
Loki at least can play PP minutes, has a decent set of hands, and has the speed to play all four lines.
Sorry maybe my bias is blinding me, but guys like Westgarth are done in the NHL.
It's ok to be tough and fight, but you better play the game like Simmer or Hartnell(you know contribute).

Then we can agree to disagree. I'm not saying Westgarth lit the world on fire, but for a 4th line grind it out role, he did well in my opinion last year and didn't hurt us. For a 4th line, that's all I ask. I'm fine with whoever they dress and personally I want Lokti dressed over Westgarth as well. But I wouldn't be bothered if Westy dressed.

In the playoffs Gorilla's seem to have more effect than Mosquito's.
