So far, the playoffs this year couldn't have gone better...Pittsburgh AND Vancouver both down by 2 games? The only way this could get even better is if Boston wins today.
I admit I like the fact that the Pens and Canucks are down, but both team have the talent and potential to come back. The Flyers and Pens game was wild last night. I fell asleep for the Kings game though.
I hope the Bruins pull out the win today and it is a solid one. It will make the road games a bit easier.

I can`t stand either of the Flyers/Pens but any team that has one of the most hypocritical owners out there (Lemiux) who employs one of the most disgusting players (Cooke, who I could care less has cleaned up his act for all of 1 year) I just can`t root for them.

See I kind of like the Flyers when the Bruins aren't playing them. They are probably my favorite EC team outside of Boston. I blame a huge part of this on my hockey infatuation with Giroux. I think Giroux has a ton of talent, but sort of gets lost in all the Crosby, Malkin etc talk.
Giroux is absolutely awesome and he has been playing lights out, although if the Flyers and B's both win their series and meet up in the 2nd round, I think the Bruins team defense will shutdown, or at least slow down Giroux. The Pens don't seem to have a defense to speak of.

I have to agree with you a little there. I do have a small man-crush on Giroux... now, if could only wear black and gold!

I would take him-and short of a few core players I would make the trade and not even blink. However I am pretty sure the Flyers aren't dealing him.
As for the current series, I think the Bruins need to come out ready to play a full 60 minutes. They can't afford to come out flat and spot the Caps a goal. I am hoping the B's will score early this game.
