iv watched 500 games of him and never wanna see him again he's misses so many open nets and makes horrible plays and is strait up a little b*tch and o yeah the biggest one not a team player don't care about the team and VERY inconsistent the list could go on and on and he and roy are butting heads with ruff and ruff just got retained for next season so expect them to be on the way out

Somebody get that guy a bag of punctuation marks!

Anyway, I guess I'm not really interested in moving down. I would be in favor of moving the pick (maybe + depending on who) for a very legitimate goal scorer or high end defenseman. But that's about it.

Wouldnt wanna give up klefbom.

Omark, #32 pick and hamilton

if the return is someone with the same kind of upside as couterier at #7

Easy no from Minnesota.

You have to give to get.

As long as we don't use it to draft Forsberg, I'm perfectly fine with keeping our pick. We need d prospects bad and there will surely be at least one or two solid d prospects available by the time it's our turn to choose.

Keep the pick and draft Reinhart. He's probably the best defenscemen in the draft who's only ranked lower because of his season ending injury.

maybe he will be but MIN is not trading 7th overall for lesser players.

thats a lot of spare parts. If EDM was drafting 7th overall would they make this trade?
Also, the last line makes no sense. Couturier was projected to be a top 3 pick last season and is certainly playing like one.
saying you would offer Omark + 2nd + Hamilton ONLY if the 7th pick is that good?

exactly... you gotta look at the deal from both sides..
Dumba and Reinhart both play close to EDM.. one is part of EDM oilkings.. Klefbom may be better but these 2 will also be NHLers.
Helps both clubs IMO.

umm Reinhart has no injury. He is playing fine in Edmonton Oilkings's 18 game wining streak that includes 2 playoff sweeps.

now imagine your a minny fan, would u accept this spare parts for the 7th overall? This is just really terrible coming from a neutral fan, the other Oiler fan offer of Klefbom + Omark is favouring the Oilers as well, but Minny might do it since Brodin and Klefbom are teammates. Gagner, Marincin and 32nd overall is the offer I would accept (assuming Minny needs a #2 center).

no, not even close, we have too many t6 wanna be's already. point to trading 7th was to improve not take on two guys, one who cant cut it in a weak t6 (budding epic t3 tho) and one who well isnt all that.
