we only take good posters here, so not many.
but i agree that our GDTs are usually way too late. they should be open the whole day. i often want to discuss something, see no thread, am too lazy to make a new one and move on.
I could see detroit losing this one and then win the next 2 at home to even out the series just like they did in the 2008 series against these guys...just the other way around
I don't care what anybody says, the Wings outplayed the Preds. No ifs, ands or buts, the only difference was Rinne and a few bounces. The Wings are mad they couldn't beat Rinne more than twice, they are mad that Zetterberg got hit the way he did, and they are mad that they got beat the way they did.
4-1 Wings.
Howard stands on his head, Datsyuk lights Rinne up with a goal and an assist, Franzen goes playoff mode on them, gets a goal, Zetterberg gets revenge and scores one, and Kronwall scores on the PP blocker side.
Last game our PP looked better, our PK was amazing, and we shut Radulov down. If we can do this today, we win. They just beat us on bounces, and for some reason I feel Rinne won't save this team today.

Well Kronwall usually makes his hit in the same place of the ice, and almost always there's a winger there transporting the puck... Has Kronwall ever Kronwalled a defenseman?
This one's critical. We'll basically need to rattle off 3 straight to have a good chance of winning this series. The Preds will be looking to jump on the Wings early in this one.

TopGun used to do all the GDTs. Since he was so good at it and did all of them, we just got used to having it fit his schedule. He's in Europe, so he'd put the GDT up during his evenings before the games.
I agree though. We should move to a system where the GDT can go up the night before at the earliest and preferably by the morning at the latest. I think we should do a Sign Up sheet going forward. Not sure who's interested either. It's just such a grind on the guys who do these to have to get to 82 regular season games and then the playoffs. The more the merrier.
