Nelson, Kabanov, Petrov, Ullstrom, Cizikas, Nino, rhakshani, DiBenedetto 8 players of the top 3 lines
de haan, donovan, reese, wishart, ness as 5 of the 6 dmen
poulin and nelson as the goal tending tandem

petrov's khl contract is over and he has shown that he wants to play in the nhland has said he would first play in the ahl if he had to, nino should be sent down to gain confidence and time to develop

of course this probably won't happen because no one wants to sign with the isles so after typing all that it kinda feels like a waste of time, ill just wait to see what every one says i guess

Looking forward to seeing an EDM vs. NYI Stanley Cup Final in the near future, just like the good ol' days

From your lip's to the hockey god's ears.

I'll take the Isles winning 4 years in a row and the Oilers winning the next 4 out of 5.

Sound like a deal?

The Marlies have a pretty good looking team too! At least Isles and Leaf fans have something to look forward to. Lottery picks this summer too!

...

I'd trade it all for the playoffs

They do have tons of youth and hopefully they can develop them well.

That being said, youth doesn't always translate into success at the professional level. It's more important to develop those players and get veterans to get them accustomed to the pro life, IMO. Having a top 3 lines with such little experience may not be the best thing, even in the AHL, IMO.

Is Dustin Kohn still in the NYI system or did he go unsigned?

Unsigned. He played in Sweden this season.

Donovan and Ullstrom will definitely play in the NHL. Cizikas might full time as well. Dibo could get some NHL duty but he is more of an injury call up. Not including Petrov because he is definitely a wait and see signing.

Rhakshani-Nelson-Nino
Dibo-Colliton-Kabanov

That's a damn good top 6. Frischmann (sp) will likely be resigned (along with Colliton) and John Persson has played well since his ATO so I'm guessing he will be signed as well so there is great depth. Add in Kitchton on the back end and it's easy to get excited about the Tigers.

Toronto winks at you with:

D'Amigo-Colborne-Ashton
Mueller-Kadri-Frattin

Huge fan of Rhett Rakhshani, I wish him and Ruegsegger would of stuck together a little more. You need key veterans in the AHL in order to be successful, it's not just about running an all you line-up. The Marlies have set themselves up like the Bulldogs with key vets such as Zigomanis and Hamilton playing big roles with the club. Pretty good group of players, hopefully some pan-out majority most likely wont (as with Toronto).

You should submit your resume to Charles Wang for a front office position. Crazier things have happened.

they won't be if the isles can sign some legit nhl talent which would be filling out those spots
