I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Canucks fans across the country - Alberta is saturated with BC expats. And I'm pretty sure we all pay our taxes to help CBC fund their programs. Vancouver always plays second fiddle to the first game of the night. Year after year. Why they cannot even use CBCNN or another secondary national channel to air the game is beyond me.

Random thought here, how good is Higgins at center? If need be, could we afford to ice a top line of Burrows - Sedin - Kesler (with Higgins centering a 2nd line with Raymond/Lapierre and Booth)?

LOL didn't say it was right. I'm sitting in Toronto and have to stream the game to watch it when it starts. Am I pissed? Yup. But it is what it is.

Finally some stable D-pairings. And AMEX reunited

They really changed up the 3rd line. I'd probably would have put Lappy back on the 1st line and kept Pahlsson-Hansen. Oh well, we'll see how these work out.

I've got to say that the defense by both the Pens and the Flyers is pretty awful and the goaltending even worse. If Luongo had a game like either Brz or Fleury he'd be shot.

Agreed, and I am not lou's biggest fan, but i have heard non stop how amazing fleury is this year, and his numbers were not much different then lou's. Lou would be crucified for letting in 6.
