I thought the Kings would make it interesting against Vancover just because of Quick, but no way did I see this coming.

Pens down 0-2 and Vancover could be down the same after tonight. Sharks also beat the Blues in double OT. Nhl playoffs are truly unpredictable.

Well, that seals it more or less. Both Vancouver and Pitts lost both their home games. At least one should be eliminated, hopefully both of them.

I don't know if everyone heard it but during a TV timeout on my stream you could clearly hear the crowd chant " THIS IS BULL****" for a good 2mins, it was hysterical

Looks like there will be a #1 seed swept, but its not the rangers

So apparently winning the President's Trophy leads to being 0-2 in the first round. Let them keep it.

Bieska with one of the stupidest plays I have ever seen.

Luongo makes a nice save, and Bieska takes himself out of positon. Completely leaves the right side open for a wrap around.

I'm under the impression that the Canucks and Kings hate each other more than the Pens and Flyers, at least from what I've seen tonight.

It's been a pretty good day for me, at least for the two non-Rangers series that I actually care about.

I turned the tube on just in time to see Lapierre do a really bad acting job on a stick that caught him on what looked to be the back of his helmet. No big deal, no injury. Falls to the ice like the snivelling suck he is. Kesler and Sedin in game 1. Just sad. How can you respect a team like the Canucks?

Hope LA puts them out in 4.

Brown's hat trick was the first one by a King in the postseason since Gretzky clowned Dave Ellett at MLG in 1993....

I'm not that surprised by the Kings being up 2-0 yet. Quick is having the best year of his young career so far, and guys like Carter, Richards, and even Penner have woken up. Sometimes the playoffs do that to players. Different kind of game.

Missing Daniel Sedin is a killer. That's a top 10 player in the league.

But to earlier posters; I think this is the first year where any of the series at hand could be won by any team. There are no more favorites and 1-8 isn't what it was even a decade ago. Cap causes parity which is overall good or else the Rangers might have never really gone young.

As far as the Rangers, agreed, let's take care of OTT first, don't take the foot off the pedal don't look ahead even if it is human nature. The other stuff will all sort itself out.

The most surprising thing is that it isn't even like Quick is stealing the series. Kings are outplaying the Nucks all over the ice.

Absolutely loving the Penguins and Canucks being down 2-0. Both fanbases and teams are arrogant and annoying.

Long way to go, though, but if they both lose the Rangers road to the finals gets that much easier.

They complained that Jagr's stick was too big when he scored the GWG.

Bryzgalov absolutely robbed Letang with a ridiculous glove save. Letang started whining that his glove crossed the goal line, Read skates over to Letang and gives him a love tap cross check across the lower abdomen, Letang falls like he was shot.

Both players got penalties.

Has there ever been a case where only one player gets a penalty in that situation? It's ridiculous that EVERY time it's evened up. Grow some balls refs!

Maybe Mario could threaten to move the team again.
