James Howard has been better than I expected.

It's the same with Datsyuk. He has Suter and Weber to deal with, plus their top 2-way forwards to deal with, but he still creates.

I'm sure Detroit has tried to match him with Zetterberg/Lidstrom as much as possible.

As for the thread? I'm with Erat. he's like Nashvilles version of Homer. The guy reads rebounds like a beast.

Keep him...otherwise I'm sure Detroit will be all over that guy in the FA =)
He's got 3 years after this year under contract

From a Flyers fan, this.

I didn't know much about him--sort of assumed that he was totally a product of Crosby, but he plays hard.

I know he is underrated, but you seriously think he was by far and away our best player?

Hansen has been good for Vancouver.

Glad to see AMart get some props outside of LA.

Watching the game as a Sharks fan, I noticed he was creating plays and on multiple occasions was spotting the open man for a potential dangerous shot. He was also getting back in the play very well.

I'm not sure I noticed anyone more than him I guess is a better statement.

Gotcha. He is a very good skater, and great at moving the puck up the ice. I'm still amazed at how little point production he gets. He should be getting around 30-35 a season IMO.

Both players have been great in this series. If the rest of the Canucks could match Hansen's intensity and discipline, they would be a wrecking machine in the playoffs.

I always thought Erat has been good. You could tell early on in his career that the effort was there every night and that the points would come eventually.

Doughty...what happened to this guy? Was he really that over-hyped?
