Did you think that WCW piping the Goldberg chants into the Air Canada Centre during his feud with Bret Hart was a good idea too?

Did I say that?

Fact remains, we get "fake" audiences every week, your example is but one in a very, very, very long list.

There's a difference between hiring an actor to play a fan who gets beat up by a heel and forcing an inorganic reaction on the fans; it's like piping in cheering, it's bush league (Yet the big promotions are the ones that have to do it).

Ummm, who is talking about hiring actors to play fans to get beat up? you're all over the place.

Piping in cheering which happens every week which is just supporting my point thanks

Only saw the main event, Bully as a heel is where he belongs. Him yelling at Hogan and Brooke was great. Looked like a good crowd, so great to see them out of the Impact Zone.

I didn't think it was necessary to have the first two Aces and Eights guys run in, and have Bully and Hardy take them out, but otherwise I enjoyed the match.

- At last night's TNA Lockdown PPV, the company planted several fans in the crowd to begin throwing trash at Bully Ray once he was revealed at the Aces & Eights president. The hope was that if a few fans started to throw trash that many more would join in, which is what happened.

So is AJ going to return without saying a word and then rumble around the arena scaffolding for a year with a budgie on his shoulder?

Isn't it obvious what's going to happen?
Hulk will beg AJ to join them in their fight against A&8s (maybe not immediatly, they probably send guys like Storm, RVD etc.. to try beat them but they will fail), removing the stupid can't compete for the world title thing, leading to a feud with Bully, ending with AJ winning the title.

eights are destroyed, TNA won. success.

This storyline could get me more interested in TNA if they pull it off right...

Or better yet. A's and 8s are in the ring beating the crap out of Hogan when suddenly AJ's music hits, he runs out to the ring and starts slapping around Brooke and Hogan the crowd boo's when suddenly another AJ comes out of the crowd and grabs the first AJ and pulls off his mask to reveal . . . absolutely no one that we know.

Then A + 8s starts to slowly collect other players, as the group grows we see guys like Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger return to the ring, they form the A + 8's affiliate, La Barista's or something like that which leads to Larry Zybisko returning as the millionaire funding the group leading to a PPV event with a three way match between AJ Styles,Bully Ray and Jeff Foxsworthy in a 17 level cage with the winner getting the great big championship belt.

Which ends when Sting knocks Bully Ray who by this time is managed by Cobra Commander off of the cage.

The final scene that we see of the PPV is JeffFoxsworthy holding the championship belt while AJ styles fakes a heart attack and Bully Ray being helped to the back by the 60 members of the A + 8 with Brutus Beefcake leading the way and Cobra Commander yelling "I'll get you next time Foxsworthy"

At least that's how Vince Russo would write it.

So....Bully turned on Hulk and Brooke? Aces and Eights President?

Never saw it coming.

Seriously, it's like when HHH turned on Austin and it was revealed he hired Rikishi to run him over. And JR screaming "WHY TRIPLE H WHY???!!!". Um, because before like three weeks earlier, he was a total a-hole?

may not be a shock or anything, but still done really well...i tweeted a buddy and think i said something along the lines of "sometimes the simple storyline is the best"

still probably the best angle in wrestling right now

Yep sometimes something is "predictable" because it's the logical thing to do which isn't a bad thing.

That said, were plenty of experts around convinced it would be Bischoff or Jarrett, so let's not act like everyone saw Bully being the president coming from a mile away. Madden was certain right up to the PPV that it was going to be Bischoff revealed as the leader to live out his biker fantasies.

In fact there was a stage months ago where many seemed convinced Bully was going to turn and join Aces & Eights, then he didn't and most gave up on that idea and turned to Bischoff/Jarrett.

Not to mention I'm sure after 5 pieces hit the ring, the crowd legitimately started throwing stuff. I think the Bud Lights were planned.

Does anybody have video of the event? I have it on PPV and will keep it for a long time but JW if I can get it mobile or not.

I'm just saying Bully Ray is an obvious heel. You can't recreate the nWo angle because no one could remember Hogan ever being a heel. Maybe if Bully Ray had been a face for a few years, it could have worked better.

I liked this angle when the nWo did it.

Adding Bully Ray is about the equivalent of nWo adding the WolfPac

good for TNA do finally do shows outside the Impact Zone, but the fans today were probably too "smart" for TNA's liking

A "feed me more" chant for Rob Terry

TNA is running an angle that Aces & Eights hacked their website and is plugging their merch.
