Dustin Brown is one of the softest players in the game. Just can't believe that somebody who crushes as many people and who's as big as he is, could be intimidated by Mason Raymond.
All AV for me. Team slumps on offense at Christmas like last year as they "get ready for the playoffs" and the downward spiral of offense continues into the playoffs. This team looks absolutely hopeless in the offensive end.
I don't think Gillis deserves the majority of the blame. Basically all the core players are the same as last year. They're just not playing like they did in the playoffs last year.
I think I was one of many who assumed the canucks had an extra gear for the playoffs. So far they haven't shown it...
I agree. The team is mostly the same. Torres and hodgson are not changing the whole team playing like ****. Even ehrhoff isn't. Av and the coaches have lost the team. The PP is the same **** over and over even though it's clear it doesnt work. Av is being out coached yet again.
Perhaps he needs help channeling his energy in a more productive way? A coach to steer him in the right direction? AV doesn't do any of that. He's a very hands-off coach.
That's been done already.
Botchford mentioned last night how he has personally spoken to Kelser and Kesler has said himself he plays better when he focuses on the game and not all the BS.
That tells me kelser as an adult has the cognitive ability to understand what he should and should not do.
He's has decided that he will do what he said he shouldn't do. No amount of coaching will change that.
I have no doubt that if they lose this series AV will be gone. Any coaching change will not change the inherent make up of this team.
People complain about AV not adapting but no one wants to look at our top player not being able to adapt. Sedins do something other than cycle? Good luck.
