I just knew they would score on their first pp in the 3rd. Game over after that. I think this core gets at most one more go next year then blow it up while it still has value. The question is what changes do you make? Do we go full retard like the oilers after that because we don't have the young players to maintain a core like the Detroit model.

Way too reminiscent of the Chicago series in 2010

This team isn't fighting for each other. They are finished.
???

Lou was pulled for the extra man, not like he was benched.

Yinka just mentioned we cant maintain pressure, why even try for the extra man.

Raymond's actually been one of our better players the last two games. Not sure what the hate is for. I'd rather have Raymond out there than Kesler these days.

AV would have to be fired for next year's team to have any chance of going anywhere in the playoffs

Yes, Luongo was great in game 1 and has made some great saves tonight (I hesitate to say that overall he had a great game tonight, but certainly the loss is not his fault). But Schneider's been the better goaltender all year, and gives them a better chance to win -- not to say that Luongo hasn't been excellent, but Schneider's been even better. Understood that you couldn't start Schneider in game 1, but this is all the excuse we need to make the switch.

Completely agree, there were a number of times this year i was saying they need a few practices with corner targets, and do nothing but shoot the puck and learn to pick corners.

All our scoring chances are low, and quick goes down more then lou, but nobody raises it.
