I've noticed in other similar threads here as this, and this thread as well Johnson, and Christensen are never mentioned anymore. Is it generally understood neither are going to be on the team next season? Or aren't wanted anymore?

Christensen is doubtful, and Johnson will probably be qualified, and if he plays like he did the second half of this year next season we'd probably let him go.
All indications from Russo have said that Christensen is likely gone next year. Johnson's likely gone pretty soon too, unless he outplays some guys in camp.

This offseason trade Backstrom, Clutterbuck, Cuma and 2nd or 3rd rounder for Luke Schenn and Jesse Blacker
I'd be willing to work a deal around Clutterbuck for Blacker/Schenn/Holzer. That would certainly help out of D problem. I don't think Toronto would go for it though.
Can't see any of the bolded players ready for the NHL in 2 years. Also can't see the underlined players in the NHL in 2 years. Powe is not really good at faceoffs.
Parise and Coyle would be on there opposite wing they usually play.

@forthewild - Just curious - Do you mean Hudson Fasching? And which Lindholm do you mean? There's quite a few Swedish defensemen named Lindholm.
I would assume yes @ Fasching, but I know he means Hampus Lindholm and Sebastian Collberg under the presumption of us trading #7 for two later picks and grabbing them.
