Joannette is senior. Joannette is an average skater, Pochmara good. One of the few pairs to resist the playoff trend of upping the call level.

So would this pair be good for the Sharks? The pair last game was pretty good I thought.

Yeah. In the sense that the Sharks want to play 5on5. Twice in a row, it's too good to last. I am also not fond of Pochmara for the Sharks, but in his last reg season game for the Sharks, he was pretty good. Joannette doesn't tend to bump the call level unless some coach/player rags on him about the quality of the officiating in the game. At that point, the calls get so tight that the players and coaches walk funny. Not unfair, just tight. (I'd love to see Joannette get a game in Calgary with B. Sutter coaching.)

Of course B. Sutter will be on a different team. He and the Flames parted ways.
