I'm surprised that Vancouver fans are shocked that Kings fans are happy with a 2-0 start on the road. Kopitar, Williams, Carter and Doughty have zero goals and the Kings are up 2-0. Kings fans are going to be happy, nothing wrong with that.

The Kings players and Sutter are not taking the Canucks lightly and the Canucks need to elevate their game if they want to win the series. If they are waiting for the Kings to fold, they will not win the series. This is not Murray's Kings anymore, Sutter has them focused.
Too much individual play by the Canucks, and quite frankly the Kings have Duncan Keith to thank as much as anyone. How he only got 5 games on a mission well done is an absolute joke of a league.

Wait till when one of your star players has someone aim for their head. That's how you eliminate head shots to the game. This isn't even talking about just the Canucks this is talking about the entire league.

Weber's play on Zetterberg was an absolute joke.

what happened with Daniel Sedin, he was supposed to miss maximum 1 game and now it looks like he's going to miss 4 !?!?

That wouldn't be anything new for Kings fan's.

Kopitar missed the whole playoff's last year.

Kings are missing Gagne to a concussion and he has scored at a higher goal rate in the playoffs than Daniel. Richards was lost to a concussion in December and has just now gotten his game back in this series. Clifford took a head shot in game one from the Canucks. Doughty took one last season.

Kings fans know plenty about head shots/concussions.

His dad said he had headaches after the full team practice before game 1. Sounds like a setback.

I haven't caught much of the series except for a few periods here and there. What stands out to me is how aggressive the kings are in the offensive zone and their excellent forechecking and unreal goaltending (tho Bobby Lu is playing lights out too). What's been keeping the Canucks guns silent?

That's a tough break. I honestly wish we were going against a full strength Vancouver. Reminds me a little bit of the Kings last year, losing Kopitar right at the end there for the entire postseason. Though I wish we had another identical Kopitar in that situation too Was probably the main reason we got Richards in the offseason.

Man, this. People seem to forget we're without some scoring depth as well in Gagne, and that Doughty and Richards lost some time and sucked for some more time with aftereffects

It's a different ballgame with Sedin, to be sure, and I wish him the best, but we've been dealing with headshot/concussion issues to major players for two seasons.

Moral of the story: It takes 4 Kings fans, don't get ahead of yourself.
so it only takes one fan to form a majority? just like how some of you guys kept telling us that we should stop claiming that the kings will sweep? when the only person that even said that....wasn't a Kings' fan?

Besides, he wasn't wrong in saying that....isn't this the first time you've gone 0-2 in a series the past few years?

Exactly - we don't have Simon Gagne, a playoff stud - does anyone hear us crying about it ?

so what if the Sedin injury happened right before the playoffs and Gagne's been shelved for a while.

Injuries are injuries, and they occur in sports, save the excuses and play the game. You should have the Canucks coach repeat that last part to the team.

Hate seeing any team use the injury excuse in the playoffs.

Bruins won the cup last year without their #1 center and without their #1 RW for most of the finals. Philly is doing great without their #1 dman. LA is without Gagne. Everyone deals with injuries in the playoffs.

I think everyone here is missing the point. Isn't this the first year that the kings went back to the black and white? Clearly they were going to make some noise.

Nice double standard. All I heard last year from kings fans in the playoffs was " if only we had kopitar we would have beat the sharks.. Woe is us"

Funny to see Vancouver fans mad at Keith after the Canucks sent out Rome to take out the Bruins top line RW in the finals last year.

Karma's a *****.

Seriously? Two totally different plays. Silly to compare them.
