I don't like a single one of those changes. If Reaves is hurt, I'd put in Porter, and if he's not hurt, no way do I scratch him. Huskins was unspectacular, but Coliacovo has been down right bad lately, and I think Arnott would be a better scratch choice than Stewie (god did Arnott not look very good on Thursday), and I'd put in Jaden ahead of Dagger.
God I hope I'm wrong.
I'm not a fan of these changes, Reaves was one of our better players in Game 1, he was physical, skating hard, had some chances and good play with the puck... Huskins was unspectacular but that sometimes happen with Defensive d-men, Coliacovo has been horrendous the past few weeks and I don't see that changing in the playoffs. With the lineup tonight I'm thinking Blues fall 3-4. 2 sharks goals on bad coverage from Cola's lack of defense, 1 embarrasing goal from Halak, and 1 he has no chance on.
I'd rather see
Perron-Backes-Oshie
Steen-Berglund-McDonald
Sobotka-Arnott-D'Agostini
Porter/Langenbrunner-Nichol-Reaves
I agree Reeves does his job well, but he doesn't have allot experience in the league. With the minutes he plays it's about not overexposing him in games that might go into overtime and with this team that's very likely.
I hope they win this one, I want them to start feeling like they belong and they're not just 4 month wonders. Not saying that's true but I do think doubt can be a problem when you have this much youth in the main core.
I would like them to tighten up in the neutral zone and not them setup as easy as they did at times during the first game. I would like them to defend the blue-line better.

I agree, a tighter neutral zone would help. The biggest issue I've seen, and some of it may be due to still being a young team, and relatively inexperienced in the playoffs, is a lack of killer instinct. After the blues went up 2-1 in game 1, they fell off and played a more safe, defense first system. More experienced teams will continue pushing for more goals to put it out of reach. Especially with a really experienced team like the Sharks, I'm sure when they were down 1-2 the coaching staff and team leaders were saying, "all we need is one goal and then it's a brand new game." They got that goal and took it into ot.
I have to admit I'm a little lost. What's the ya ma goo?
The ya ma goo is a state of mind, a kind of Bali Hai paradise of artistic rap-reggae-white-Russian-hockey-player expression, a dream of what could be or what never was.

hey blues fans,
san jose native here saying that i'm enjoying the lack of trash talk that's been going on from your fanbase. our team has been in the underdog status of the playoffs for a good 10+ years and we're used to fanbases that like to throw us in the gutter. you fans are proving that you're a classy bunch of people that can respect competition without getting really hotheaded and pejorative... i'd just like to say that if you beat us, i'm rooting for saint louis for the rest of the playoffs.
I agree, the blues have the classiest fans ive seen throughout the league
