I hope not. The truth can't hurt. Now, if you had called it insightful journalism, I would have reported your post immediately.

Surprised he hasn't written an article about how Spezza hasn't scored an even-strength goal in his last 16 playoff games.

IMO, Walsh read the heading only.

1st, the writers don't make the heading.
2nd, all Brennan did was point out his streakyness, and his lack of goals/shots over the last few games.
3rd, he also praised MM and said he was the type of player that could get the Sens out of there latest funk.

So sensitive around here...

I don't think they don't make their own headlines. They submit everything.

Im very curious. I, and several others have wrote to the sun about our displeasure with the articles of brennan and garrioch covering the sens, yet they remain employed.

I'm not exagerating when i say over 90% of sens fans do not like those writers...Why would the sun keep them?

Is negative attention better then no attention? I don't get it. If i had as many people write to my boss about their displeasure of my job, i would have been fired a long time ago.

Like the sun writers are BAD. They don't realize this?

I'm pretty sure if we just ignore Don Brennan and the Sun in general, they will go away.

I tried that with a rash once, and it got so bad I ended up needing antibiotics to get rid of it.

There's a comparison there somewhere...

No. Don Brennan is NOT a good writer, and this article is most definitely NOT well written.
This times 10. I didn't even take english or journalism in university but i still know that this article is crap. No flow. It's set up like a 12 year old was talking to his friend. Brutal.

What is wrong with that article?

Nothing.

Michalek needs to step up and take the heat off Spezza and Karlsson that will be keyed on this series and the playoffs. He makes big $$ and is big part of this team's success.

Turris too. You know Alfie will be there even at 40.

A parasite like Don Brennan in the Ottawa media can't resist the urge to tear down the Senators and their top players.

Brennan writes an unwarranted, disgraceful hit piece on Milan Michalek, who scored 35 goals this season and loves playing in Ottawa.

Brennan's mission following the team on the road is to tear the players down. Can't Sun Media come up with somebody better than this?

Every Senators fan should rise up and be heard. Let Sun Media and the Ottawa Sun know how you feel.
Allan Walsh, how about you shut the **** up and hope your client plays much better than he did in game 1 tonight?

Not really, but I wanna see the team play with a lot more passion ad take game 2 in NY. I always feel like Michalek can do more. He should be a star player on this team at this stage when the half a dozen quality talented forwards are still in the SEL or juniors/minors.

Brennan's a zenophobe.

He hates anything that is not knuckle dragging Canadian born and bread hockey, he loves violence in hockey, and he wouldn't know a decent hockey player or even how to describe a proper hockey play if someone had a gun to his head.

Doesn't justify the article, though. There are ways of calling out a player's performance without throwing him under the bus. Brennan's article is just rude and insulting, really.

I wanna see more out of Michalek and specially Turris. Turris is very talented and can help us big time. He was terrible the other night cuz he was not moving his feet as much and was not even finishing his checks when a guy like Richards who is small and making 10 mill is running guys from behind

It's a nice article. I agree with it. Michalek has been invisible for the past 1 game. He needs to step up and so does the rest of the team. GO SENS GO!

We can win tonight.

I'd like to read the article but I don't want to give the Sun page hits. When they're not making money from advertising, then they'll be done.

I would certainly agree with Brennan that Allen Walsh is a bully.

I also think that Don Brennan is an idiot.

Best to stay away from both morons.

Walsh and Gordon vs Brennan and Big Bruce. Tag team match in a caged arena. I'd watch.

I'd bet money that Brennan was one of the guys Kovalev was talking about when he mentioned guys covering the teams were drunks.
