Waiver Draft

With the NHL Lockout, would their be a waiver draft before the season starts???

there was in 95 and the rangers protected mark osbourne and lost greg gilbert. :mad:

Since we dont have enough NHL players, I wonder who we gotta protect? I guess we can claim players without losing others.

Wow, SoS...

I cannot even remember Mark Osborne's second tour with the Rangers, let alone remembering him being protected ahead of Gilbert (Keenan picked him up in St. Louis, correct?).

The reason i remember this move is because Sam and JD roasted Neil Smith on the air. Could you imagine if that happened today!

Sather protected Sandy and let PJ Stock get picked up by the Bruins, and Stock is much more of a fighter than Sandy was when he was here.
