I love how people are calling him childish. Do you think he planned this? Its called impulse, he got kicked out in a playoff game within the first couple of minutes. And a lot of people don't think he should have been kicked out.

Funny story: My dad who is a hardcore Islander fan and a hardcore Ranger hater ran into Dubinsky 2 years ago I believe. My dad was in a group of 8 people flying to Cancun , Mexico and they were having some fun drinking and what not. This dude wearing a hat nearly over his eyes, turns around lifts the hat and tells the group to be quiet cause they're too loud and he can't sleep.
My dad recognized him and now tells this story almost every single time the family gets together and how much he hates him and the Rangers.

This was a man that was PISSED that he was missing an entire game of the playoffs for defending his teammate from getting jumped. By the ref's logic, everyone else that jumped into the scrum AFTER Dubinsky should've gotten thrown out as well.

He got kicked out of the game for being third man in when only Carkner was given a fighting major. I'd be pissed too.
Any altercation can have a 3rd man in. In my mind 3rd man in usually means a 2 on 1 situation, not being the 3rd man in when numbers 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 are all in within 2 seconds.
Either way, by the book, yes, third man in.
Kind of wished someone grabbed Karlsson and as soon as a Sen came to his protection, would that have got 3rd man? I'm guessing NO.
