The NHL potentially not suspending Hagelin will absolutely do more harm to the NYR, especially in front of the Ottawa faithful. Fans are going to be crazy, and the SENS are going to be targeting certain Rangers players with the intent to hurt them.

I'd like to think that is never really the case. Now, with New Orleans bounties and McSorley that doesn't always hold true. But I'd be surprised if we come back and do anything deliberate. We sent our message with Carkner. You can't kill 5 minutes off every night.

And expect Hagelin to get at least a game.

John is 5 ' 7, 170 pounds and never fought at any level

Paul Maclean is 6 ' 0, 210 pds averaged 100 pim a year and was in more then 40 fights in his career...
