Well at least the Rangers finally got out of their own zone.

**** em. They have been very disrespectful toward the Senators. How Hagelin wasn't thrown out of this game is beyond me. The confetti incident after game 1? Glad Ottawa stood up to them and fought back.

It's still going to be a tough climb for the Senators. They have had some great zone time thus far but I don't think the Rangers necessarily mind that all too much. They have played like that all season anyways. How Anderson holds up will be key here. He's super streaky and if he gets hot, the Rangers will have their hands full.

That's why this is such a volatile 1-8 series. You have a 1 seed with an 8 seed that has a core capable of exposing the defense. If you look at the rags gdt they even said the defensive system was problematic. Ottawa causes them headaches because their defense isn't built for a run and gun team.

You can't sit back and protect a one goal lead ans play defense, you have to keep going at it and take the risk or else you get screwed--our problem in 09.

Refs have screwed the Hawks badly in this series

- Game 1 missed too many men leads to goal
- Game 2 ,, Smith hits Toews with his blocker and Toews gets penalty = PP Goal Yotes

I was watching the game this afternoon, every time there was a Capital in front of him he would cross check him with his stick, and the refs did nothing ?

there have been some bad or missed calls in a few games in these playoffs that have cost teams some goals

Basically just that the Rags saw fit to drop confetti on the crowd after winning Game One of a first round playoff series.

Bunch of hosers, eh.

I actually didn't see it and thought it was a joke people were running here to be honest lol.

I came across this picture today, and yep, it happened.

Whatever floats their boat I guess. Seems just a wee bit over the top, but that's just me.

A banner commemorating the event will come soon. It will last a lifetime.

I'm OK with goalies hitting skaters sometimes (generally just being feisty). Maybe it's cause i played goalie as a kid. We get beat up. I loved watching Roloson, a couple weeks ago, wacking at the NJ players. Old-school. But that's me.
