Agreed. Very smooth skater, no wonder we wanted him instead of Teubert.

I know this likely wasn't an option, but if you could have gotten Voynov alone instead of Teubert+1st+3rd would you have done the trade still? So no Klefbom.

Yes, I'd think we'd be happy if Klefbom developed into a Voynov.

Long ways from over, but LA play a good style that this really puts the pressure on the Canucks.

I think that would have been a pretty ballsy move at the time of the trade.

I'd be pretty tempted to do that knowing how Voynov has developed though.

I think I would too. Voynov has looked great so far.

I can't say I hold much faith in the Oilers pro scouts.

I feel dirty... For feeling sorry for Vancouver. This team and their fanbase have put up with so much **** from everyone else around the league, lol. A vast majority of people want these guys to fail. I've noticed though that their fans have toned it down in the braggadocious department over the past year. I want them to lose as well but I can't help but feel a little bad for guys like Luongo and to an extent the Sedins. They need to make some tough personnel decisions IMO. Enough of this diving, and whining, crying, embellishing culture that surrounds the team.

Man it would be awesome to have a a guy that relishes physical contact even half as much as Dustin Brown.

Hey come on, they have a pretty good draft pick coming their way this year!

Greene is an absolutely amazing shut down D man. I just can't believe how far he has taken his game. As a defenseman myself I a in awe of how he just runs the show in the kings zone.

Ya he is outstanding. Great guy to have on your 5/6 pairing.

Dan Hambuis is a guy I feel bad for on that team. From everything I've heard and of him, he's nothing but a soft-spoken, classy guy who plays a hard-nosed, effective, 2-way defensive game.

Would have to think long and hard about that one. Voynov is young and already looks like an established top 4, exactly what the Oilers are looking for minus the physical edge. Klefbom doesn't sound much more rugged in style but may have an even better two way game at his peak. Better gamebreaking ability as well, and leadership capabilities. I don't know. Would be nice to have Voynov now though, especially if they draft Yakupov so the Russian guys wouldn't have to be alone by themselves, hypothetically speaking. Oh well it means nothing now.

The whole LA d-core is seriously impressing me. Willie Mitchell has played incredible too.

lol what a great play by Booth, but there was no puck support. The d-man let it out on top of that--so much fail

Yeah I do notice him for being quite slow, but he never lets it cost him.

Yeah, slow as molasses, but makes up for it with great positioning and amazing stick work. Surprisingly effective offense too.

And Edler takes a delay of game penalty!

Hahahaha.... Yeeeeaaah!

I predict Vancouver fans started bailing from the bandwagon as soon as that call was made.
