God I hope the Caps win this series. Not only do I not feel as bad for the Flyers losing, but we move up one more spot in the 1st round.

And it is always nice to see the rags get eliminated.

Yeah, and as much as I actually like Phoenix more, it'd be great seeing Ovi get the Cup.

Can you imagine if Ovi scored there?

Doc has become obsessed with "skyhooking" the puck, or "skying it out."

I wonder if Holtby can play like this for an entire season?

As much as NYR dominated us all season, they've now been taken to two straight game 7s vs inferior opponents. I'm not sure how to feel about that.

To me the best scenario is for Phoenix and Devils to play for the cup. Don't want LA and hate the Rangers. I of course hate the Devils especially after getting totally schooled by them...but I just don't like New York teams.

If the Devils win it..I can stomach their so called "parade" which is really a tailgate party anyway. This time it will be in the parking lot of the Prudential Center vs the swamplands....

Having said this it would be great if Phoenix won it all although maybe not great for Bryz...

They're not afraid to play tight games because they know that they Lundqvist back there. The Rangers prefer to play a close game in my opinion because they know that they can control it better that way. They may never blow a team out, but they're also not going to lose games by a lot either.

Caps have had 2 ball kicking losses in this series and they have bounced back both times. I doubt this will faze them one bit. Besides they already won one game 7 on the road in a hostile building. They can do it again.

Beats losing to an inferior team in 5.

USA beats Kazakhstan in overtime 3-2. Game winner for Faulk. Pretty sad they had to go to overtime though, although Kazakhstan played their hearts out.

No surprises there:

Kazakhstan greatest country in the world all other countries are run by little girls.
Kazakhstan number one exporter of potassium!
Other countries have inferior potassium....

and so on...

It would be absolutely terrible for the league as a whole if that happened. Combine the fan bases and you may have enough to fill an arena. The TV ratings would be ZERO. It'd be like 2005 all over again. A no market team wins a cap, and work stoppage. It will kill the league.
