We need to close out the Pens tommorrow.

If the Caps and Sens win their series its a damn better road to the cup then with Boston and NY in it.

Man how I wish we went after Anderson.....and how I wish I could see just 1 game like Anderson and Lundqvist have played from Bryz in our series and beyond ..hopefully.

Flyers are the only team leading their series that tried to get Rick Nash.

The Chicago - Phoenix series is really turning out to be a great one, and it's also interesting seeing how Smith is able to hold the fort, whereas Bryz unfortunately wasn't the past two years against what I would call an opponent of pretty much similar strength. I know circumstances are different, so I'm not looking too much into it, but it is a bit of a damper in regards to hoping Bryz turns the magic switch again in the playoffs. I don't think he's playing really bad, but like most of you are saying, apart from those first couple of games, he hasn't provided the outstanding goaltending needed to finish off the Pens.

Flyers Open in Dynasty League

Hey guys,

We are starting the off-season schedule as soon as the league is full. We are one year into the league, and most of the Flyers roster hasn't changed too much.

I run a 24 team dynasty salary cap league. We use contracts, Free Agency, re-signing, an Amateur Draft, trades, etc.

Its very much like being an actual NHL GM. We have a few open teams. If interested follow the link below to sign up and check out the rules. We run the transactions through a forum like HFboards and the fantasy system we use is fantrax because ESPN and Yahoo only allow 20 teams to be used...

Open teams:
New York Rangers
Philadelphia Flyers
Winnipeg Jets
Chicago Blackhawks

Follow the link below to sign up, read over the rules, then post in the Open Teams thread to claim a team.

Tim Thomas is having quite a game for the Bruins. Marcus Johansson will have trouble sleeping tonight unless the Caps are able to turn this around.

Not likely right now, but if the Flyers end up facing the Bruins someone needs to lay out Marchand.

Shouldn't be to hard. Just skate by him and he's knocked over. It's too bad, he's a really good player.

I'd rather see the Bruins advance than the Rangers, but I'd prefer neither.

Yeah, this might have been the one time Marchand didn't flat out dive, because of him crying wolf so often he doesn't deserve any better however.

He's not the only Bruin taking a dive regularly though. Peverley has been flopping way too often from what I've seen.

Yeah. He probably shouldn't be playing. First draw he took all game there towards the end. He won it, of course, but it didn't look good when he had to skate straight off the ice afterwards.

Can't believe Boston won.

I mean, if Washington still pulls it out, then it's even better for it to go seven games. Im just not that confident in them taking it in gm 7

As long as the Rangers get knocked out, that is fine with me. I think the Flyers would be Boston. But hopefully Washington wins game 7.

Game 7 between Boston and Washington on Wednesday means the Flyers will play on Friday at the earliest. Several days to heal up a little bit.

Despite rooting for the Yotes I kinda hope the Blackhawks win the OT of Game 6 to get one extra day.
(Devils and Rangers can lose, thank you very much.)
