This. Oh god, this.

If I'm Backstrom, and I'm on the conference call getting suspended for 1+ game, I'd go ******* and call Shanahan out exactly how you stated it.

So basically, for every 8 games Nick was out, Bourque missed 1 game. Peverely won't even miss 8 seconds. The idea that Nick should miss any time for what he did is absurd.

And who gives a fug that he got a match penalty. The fact that Bourque got only 2 minutes for a flagrant attempt to injure his head resulting in a loss of 40 games shows that the call on the ice should have absolutely no bearing on whatever supplemental discipline is handed down.

Shanahan failed to provide justice for Nick in January. It would be terrible to see him compound that error here.

We are going to win this series. Then after we do I'm gonna post the picture of the offsides in the Bruins thread and write "**** you". I'll take the infraction. It'll be well worth it. They think everything their team does is gold, and they can be dirty because that's how they play, but they ***** about everything. Can't ****ing wait.

Common sense tells me it should take mere minutes. 15? The longer it takes, the worse the news.

It takes much longer to make his long winded overkill video's showing every view in the slowest possible motion in his feeble effort to support his ruling by making it look as brutal as possible.

Yet the league doesn't want you to see the things he shows in a loop. It makes no sense.

Honestly him sitting one game is best for the team.

PRO slides up to the top 6 like we've all wanted, one of Halpern or Knuble gets a jersey, we win the next game same way we won the January one with PRO's hat trick, Backstrom comes back, one of Knuble or Halpern stays in cause they played a monster game which persuades Hunter to have them take Aucoin's spot.

Gonchar getting knocked out of the 09 playoffs 2.0

K Carrera tweeted earlier that we might not find out until late tonight/early tomorrow. Guess they want to keep us on pins and needles.

Congratulations to Marchand for coming out with a new clothing line.

It's called The Marchand Look

So Shaw got three games.

Remind me again how many games Chris Kunitz got for his crosscheck to Varly's head in the playoffs.

No point in wondering, the one game is certain, a 3 game is highly likely, we don't need to forget Backstrom is on the Capitals.

The replays showing, and the guy saying he didn't hit him in the head, wasn't good enough for Campbell with Green-Frolov, why should we look at it any different, Shanahan is the puppet, Campbell is in charge.

hey that's my video!

I should have thrown in some color commentary. Varly cross checked in the head. Green able to later push Koonitz with his one good arm. Showed him!

Why not just let LeMew take over Shanahan's job and end the charade.

Rookie mistake. Let the habs and nucks fans sling all the dirt. There will be more than enough lining up if we pull this off.

before long I'll be dead, and you, and your brother, and your sister and all of her children. All of us dead, all of us rotting in the ground. It's the caps name that lives on. That's all that lives on. Not your personal glory, not your honor, not family. Do you understand?

That and send them a video of the Bruins going for Nicks head at least five different times. Then ask them why the refs let it come to this point?

Well, the revenge factor and clean record certainly worked for Michalek, no? I mean the guy wasn't even fined. I think these situations are pretty analogous. If Shanahan has even an ounce of honor, NB does not get suspended

It's amazing what a P.O.S Julienne is, lobbying for
Backstrom's suspension. Seems these guys would stoop to any level to win a series. They don't want to play the best, they would rather have another SC handed to them.

So we have to wait until Shanahan films his stupid explanation video? What a joke.

I liked the Bruins but that Marchand act was a joke. He should be suspended. There's no place for acting in any sport.

I'm sick of it too.

AND how was that hit to Backstrom's head not a major? Just because he didn't flop and play act afterwards? Terrible refereeing last night.

edit: So trying to get youtube to work on this site is complete crap? Am I missing something? I click the stupid YouTube button and then paste my link but nothing happens.
