Let's ****ing go.

Start some **** right off the hop and get this series nasty. That's where the Bruins need it to be.

Make Chimera choke on his teeth, that'd be the ideal strategy. Guy deserves to pay and has yet to settle up.

Matt Hendricks is about the only regular. Chimera, Laich, Beagle rarely will go. They also have John Erskine, but he hasn't played since Dale Hunter became coach, and I read somewhere that Hunter hasn't even spoken a word to him in that time.

Gotta find a way to win this game. They have to take more chances and utilize the slot more when they have the puck in the zone. They are being too cautious and taking point shots and not getting traffic in front so they gotta change it up and open the slot more. Take a freaking chance, Thomas has been solid enough to cover our ass a few times. Score some ******* goals.

Can't wait for tomorrow night.

My feeling so far is that we've seen Washington's best effort, but not Boston's. Will the Bruins bring it for game three?

Time to get mad, I want to see them going after Ovi for his crosscheck to Seidenburg's face.

Big game for Lucic and Pouliot

The Bruins need to bring the nastiness. This series has been far too 90's Devils. Boring.

It'll be interesting to see what the fallout from today's Flyers-Pens game is. Is this a sign (along with the Weber fine) that the NHL is going to be a little more lenient on physical play or will there be a crackdown as a result? If they are going to let things go I think it plays into the Bruins' hands very nicely. I'm not talking about the cheap stuff. I'm talking about the scrums with a lot of jousting. If the Bruins can pick up their physical play without fear of being penalized I think they can light it up. It'll give them a little more space to get in the dirty areas, which they have not been able to do.

Another thing they need to do is test Holtby's glove a little more. He was a little shakey when they went high on him and I'd like to see a little more of that.

Finally, and most importantly, the Bruins need to score first! We saw a recurring pattern of them getting behind when they went on their 2 month slump. Getting the first goal is important. Also, Washington's game plan revolves around holding the fort and countering. If the Bruins can get the lead Washington will have to open up a little more, which also means their defense will be susceptible. Score first and you'll probably score often.

DROP THE PUCK!!!

One of the most resilient teams that I have seen in any team sports in a very long time. One thing they have done on a consistent basis is overcome many and massive hurdles. I liked that they had a "team meeting" (players) before leaving for WASH.....because the "solution" is definately in that dressing room.

I can see game 3 being the one that blows the doors open in the series......B's playing Bruins hockey with a 2-0 win.....

Need to score some goals, can't rely on Thomas letting in 1 or fewer every game. Tomorrow will be one of the most important ones for him as well. Fans at Verizon will heckle him until they have a reason to turn their attention elsewhere. Not real worried about that because of the experience that playing in Montreal will give a goaltender but this might be one of those instances where he gives up 2 or 3 in regulation.

Here's to hoping that Corvo has really taken that defense approach seriously, I'm expectng Ovechkin to find his ice time regularly against the Corvo/Zanon pair (Zanon was actually unimpressive in Gm 2).

This game isn't a must win but its pretty big. Need to steal 1 back after giving it up at home.

Need a win in this game, get home ice back and put some pressure on Washington. At worst I want to be coming back to Boston 2-2.

I had an odd thought this afternoon, as I watched the Pitt-Phi game. I found myself thinking, almost sentimentally, man, I'm really looking forward to getting back to our boring, offensively constipated and defensively stalwart bout with the Caps tomorrow. Watching what seemed like every Philly incursion past the Pens' blueline result in a goal, just made me really really I mean really appreciate what we have in Boston, starting with Thomas, but radiating outward through our D corps and our defensively-minded forwards (it even made me appreciate what the Caps are doing themselves, as they work to transform themselves into a defensively tight team). I'll take some temporarily snake-bitten, frustrated forwards over a sieve-like backend and goalie anyday.

So I await the next double-skunking with great anticipation. What will it be tomorrow? 1-0 OT win for the B's? I love it!!
