if we see the morrow from the clevland series, that game will be a nice pitching duel.

Their starting rotation is just nuts....hopefully their offense can't get anything going.

Just got back from the game. Crowds are getting bigger which is good to see. Drabek with the win and the bats come alive. Booya!

I think im being spoiled by the 4 man rotation. Its very nice to be able to roll over our top 4 so quickly and get them back out there.

McGowan eventually. But since he's got another week or two on the DL they're going to need a spot start out of someone. I suspect Laffey, others think Carreno. or if they wanted they could use Villanueva or Perez out of the pen, although that ****ed both of them up last year.

Got out to my first game of the season today and I must admit although concerned that it may be an ugly one going off of the last two this was a great game to watch. Drabek was great today

One thing that was really annoying is that the fans seemed to be booing Drabek when he gave up the solo shot. Very disgusting.

I believe Wilner tweeted that AA told him he was considering Hutchison, Jenkins and Carreno for the spot. I suspect it will be Carreno. Hutch and Jenkins would need to be on 40 man and Hutch still needs more seasoning. I hope AA doesn't rush him, hoping it will work. He hasn't pitched many innings in AA and usually, a pitcher is required to pitch a good amount in AA and AAA before coming up and since we're not promoting them to Vegas, it's best to just leave them in AA for a while.

Also, Carreno wasn't horrible in his last start. I think he deserves another start or two.

The Lansing team is a monster
After today they are now 9 - 1

Chris Hawkins could very well be seen as a elite prospect after this season.

I can only see the numbers going up if the success increases.

Glad we don't get Shields in this swing. He pitched a gem today, and he's pitching pretty good in general already.

Hope to see us knock around Niemann. He's ripe for a pumping.

easily one of the most exciting teams the Jays have fielded in recent memory.

-Home run leader two years running

-Super dynamic superstar in the making who's also canadian.

-cocky, young attitude.

-Powerful starting rotation, especially if Drabek pans out.

-Brett Lawrie's dreamy smile.

Or, perhaps, booing Jones who hit the homer

I think so too. And I think it sends a bad message to Carreno if you go with someone else.

He's raking that's for sure!

If it weren't for the guys already in Dunedin, I wouldnt be surprised to see him get bumped if this keeps up, but Dunedin would need to send an OF to AA for that to happen, and that's not happening any time soon.

Marisnick will probably be in NH by the end of the year so Hawkins will probably get called up to Dunedin to take his spot. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Hawkins as a corner infielder.
