Boy Schneider did his part. Canucks just can't score. I can't help but thinking Hodgson would have been really valuable to the team when Daniel went down.

Really if there's any lesson from these playoffs so far, it's that there's no winning formula. You can't try and imitate another team because there's plenty of ways to make a good team, yes you need "character" even more than that, but that's only the start.

The Canucks are now on the verge of becoming the first President's Trophy winning team to be swept out of the playoffs.

Absolutely pathetic from the Canucks. Shame it had to be the Kings though, the only thing I like about that team is Kopitar.

I don't know how you can blame the "sisters" for this when one was out with a concussion and the other is a playmaker who had no support. Kesler has been embarrassing himself more this time.

The Canucks are officially Capitals West though.

That Hodgson is looking brutal. I guess Gillis had his hands tied, but if Kassian is the best piece they can get for a championship contender... Yikes.

Hodgson might be a role player but right now they look like they can use any depth scoring they can get.

Nucks still have some offensive stars who were shut out 2 games out of 3. What a disappointment!

What is really...interesting...and just a little "funny"(for lack of a better description) is that Henrik Sedin started playing really hard after Dustin Brown's hit on him.

There is no one way to build a championship team. However, looking at Cup winners of the past, three things always come up: depth, skill, and a bit of luck. The Canucks have none this year and it shows in the fact they are going to be swept by the Kings. The Hodgson trade was inane because it was a downgrade in both depth and talent. They need to make numerous depth acquisitions to be contenders next year.
