Really? It was entertaining at first but by the end it was a trainwreck.

The hockey was beyond awful.

Should the Pens sweep be completed, I fully expect their stars to get beat from pillar to post by the media and the fans. If it gets bad enough I wonder if Sid chooses not to re-sign until after next season. If it goes bad again, could he jump ship?

This, a hundred times this.

Seriously, it's a gong show out there, aided and abetted by awful goaltending on both sides.

I was just telling my girlfriend the same thing, only to refresh to main boards and see a new topic titled something to the effect of, " Pens-Flyers best thing to happen in hockey in long time".

I don't care if he scores 1000 goals in a season he has no dignity, no respect and doesn't demand it either. For a man of his stature he has no integrity. That is huge in LIFE not just sports. I'm blown away how much he lacks in character. I'd be embarrased to support a team that he was on.

I thought Jordan Staal was supposed to be an elite shutdown centre. He's getting shown up by Couturier big time, and the big lines of the Flyers are just running over them.

Anyone saying they wouldn't want Crosby should never be listened to ever again.

It really comes down between hockey-as-entertainment versus hockey-as-a-sport. As a sport, these games are terrible. As entertainment, they're certainly interesting.

The whole team is out of control. Whatever it is about the Flyers, it brings out the absolute worst in the Pens. Crosby has been behaving horribly. Certainly not someone who is worried about taking a headshot.

if quality of hockey was correlated with level of testosterone, this series is defiantly best thing that happened to hockey. Testosterone and adrenaline = fun

Hopefully Aaron Asham receives a hefty $2,500 fine for that crosscheck to the face.

Huh? I don't get it. We'll find other ways to be great. He's a tool and tools belong in Toronto. I don't care where he goes really as long as it's not Montreal.

I can see why WWE fans would like this; if anything I find it more interesting since it's all legitimate and it's hard not to be curious about what would happen next. It's an exciting novelty, but if this happened all the time hockey would lose all legitimacy as a serious sport.
